LOL I had already done 2 trips to WAGS, 1 to Target and 2 to Walmart, 3 to Longs Drugs in addition I hit my local grocery stores for a total of 3 times this week. With that said, I am so proud of myself for ending the week with a great deal at WAGS. My intention was to purchase the ALL laundry detergent on sale with WAGS Q for 2/$8. Just my luck, they are still out of stock so I got a raincheck. As I walked around hoping to recoup on my commute to the store, I saw the Thermacare Hand & Wrist 2 ct. wrap on clearance for $4.19. (thank you poster) There were only two left and I immediately searched my coupon stash for the IPs I had printed earlier this week because of a thread I read about for the very same item. I also picked up the Ricola Berry and paired it with the WAGS $.50 Q, used my $3 Bic Soleil RR and a $.25 Royal jello filler and paid $.58 OOP.

I will add that it wasn't a smooth, no beep transaction...the cashier sorted through my coupons and scanned my jello WAG Q first, then Ricola WAG Q, $3RR and the 2 $3 Theracare MQ. The second one beeped. She was nice enough to keep trying to scan it but told me it wasn't working. I pointed out that the MQs had different codes so they were unique MQs. She looked at it and then pushed the second Q through. I paid my $.58 while the $4 Thermacare and $1 Ricola RR printed out.

I will now force myself to take a break tomorrow and rest up for a new week. LOL. Does anyone else get "in trouble" with their hubby/significant other for spending too much time shopping for deals? Then she rips out the wags q and says its a q and shes keeping it and I told her no void the whole mess and give me back my q's. She wasn't going to and I about went over the counter to get them. She had them in her hand and took them right back. MGR was at the register behind us and told her she was rong and that I should have gotten the stuff for well under a 1.00 and her response was I'm sick of her and all the others coming in here and getting everything for free. My lubriderm order finally came in! I ordered 54 of them. The manager that ordered them told me another girl saw the order in the system and thought it was an error so she cancelled it. Well my fave manager was right on top of it and told her they were for a customer so they put the order... Wooohooo! My lubriderm order finally came in! I ordered 54 of them. My first 7 were just lubriderm.

Next 10 were lubriderm and aussie (love that rolling reward!)

My last one was the last of the lubriderm, one more aussie, 9 french's onions, 2 ester -c (had a BOGO raincheck) and 2 revlon clearance items.


My lubriderm is 3.99 here so after q's and with tax its 3.16 for 3 and get and $8 RR back ...so each deal was a MM of 4.84!

I would have gotten the Almay mascara but that is where i had a problem.
I bought the 1 coat. I had $5 off from the manufacture and I also had the $4 off from the store
well the $5 went through without a problem. The $4 beat and they couldn't figure out what it was.
So they adjusted it so it would go through.
Then I was all set to leave and the senior cashier and another cashier were talking, and all of a sudden I get called back to the register, and told that I could not have it the way I got it.
And the senior cashier had an attitude about it.
I was so irritated that i said forget take it off and just give me back my money and i will go and buy somewhere else.
The senior cashier continued with the attitude about the whole thing.

I was so mad, when I got home I called corporate and filed a complaint against her.

She tried to argue with me telling me that I could not use both coupons, that their said not to be combined with any other offer. I had coupons for the lubriderm, and covergirl deals and a few others and went to the beauty counter with 3 transactions, the store was pretty dead and I asked as I always do, if she minded doing 3 separate transactions, she was so nice and said no of course not you can do as many as you like... before she had a chance to finish the assistant manager came over and leaned over the counter and started starring at everything in my basket and said are you doing this for register rewards so I said yes partly because of the register rewards. She rolled her eye's and said "she's not going to stand here all day and ring up all these different transactions for you its one transaction per purchase". I could understand this if the store was busy and i was holding up the front register but the store was dead I purposely shop this time of day and at the beauty counter. She said they have people coming up with carts full asking for multiple transactions and they just can't do it I didn't even have half a hand basket full of items! So I told her I wasn't going to purchase any of them in one transaction and that her refusing my sales was ridiculous every penny would still count towards her sales and asked if she was the manager. At first she said she was and continued to argue with me and then she said fine I'll check with the manager. Well she never came back and never answered the page so finally the cashier went and checked with the manager who said it was fine to do multiple purchases. I went through the first purchase fine and then the cashiers switched and although I really like the girl that came to finish checking me out she got confused with the covergirl coupons and was taking off the %50 cheaper item which was the foundation when it clearly states buy a foundation get any face product free. I think she was worried she would get in trouble because it was such a good deal. Which is fine with me I didn't mind at all when she called the manager over except when the same assistant manager came over. She came over and started kind of laughing at my coupons and rolling her eyes again. And when I explained it to her she was really sarcastic about it asking me how much I thought I was going to have to pay for all of this? At that point I took the one purchase I had already paid for and left. She treated me like I was stealing and completely embarrassed me I can't even really explain it because the worst of the whole thing was the way she spoke to me and her kind of snide laugh as she rolled her eyes. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm overreacting but this has really upset me she completely embarrassed me and this was my favorite wags only 5 min from my house now I really don't even want to go back in there ever it was so embarrassing. I don't understand why some people act like this? The store isn't getting any less money then if I paid cash so why do some of them act like I'm stealing? I called corporate as soon as I got home and explained the whole thing but I also gave them my receipt for the first transaction which shows I bought $85 worth of stuff for $1.25 so I have a feeling they won't be calling me back but she said she would pass it on to "upper management" whatever that means. For my RRs and less than $2 OOP, I got some great stuff- paper, envelopes, pens, razors, baby wipes, lots of bar soap, cough drops, and a few strings of garland and a Christmas music cd to make it a little more fun.

I wanted to say THANKS to all of you who take the time to post deals and experiences for a newbie like me. It felt like a shopping spree to be able to buy things because I wanted them, without guilt of spending too much OOP. Adding to the high of doing something for someone else was a bonus!
