This year I'm thinking of faux tart ornaments to go with the $5 TOH cookbooks I got. It looks like I would need to invest quite a bit of $$$ into materials tho...but I think they'd be fun to make and they look so darn yummy!

I am looking for air tight containers- test tubes would be great or little beacons- something science looking. I am going to make "slime" or "goop" to go in goody bags for my DS and possibly DD's birthday bags to give to kids. I think I might put a plastic prize int he goop. I have to make sure the container is air tight so the goop does not dry out and I need for them to be plastic so that the kids will not get hurt. I could use plastic bags or tiny tupperware containers, but looking for something more "fun" if you have ideas- let me know! THanks!

Hi! I have a lot of T-shirts from being in high school marching band and I was wanting to make a quilt out of them. I know that it's supposed to be hard to sew T-Shirt material. I also don't know how big I should cut the squares. Does anyone have any advice?
