Okay, so the AirWick scented oil warmers are on sale 2/$5 this week....

I have the following coupons:

- $1/2 Scented Oil Refills
- $1.50/scented oil warmer w/ refill purchase
- Free warmer unit with oil refill fragrance

Can I use all of these together??? I haven't been using Q's long enough to know.........

I'm getting other things, so there wouldn't be issues if there were an overage....

To get to $15 i'd have to buy 6 = 17.94
less 6 man q's $1/1 = 11.94 get & $7 ECB back. An OK deal but not a super deal.
I decided to take a pass and check in with the experts before I used up my ECB and q's

Decided to use some of the CVS Q's that have come from the scanner on the CVS Nuts.

I purchased 4 of the CVS Gold Emblem nuts. I handed the cashier 2 - of the $2 off 2 Gold Emblem Nuts Q's and 1 - $2 off a $10 CVS brand purchase.

The first two Q's went fine. The 3rd Q beeped. The lady said I can't take your Q because it beeped. I asked her to call the manager. I frequent this store a lot and they know me. THe 'unfriendly' manager was on duty.

She said 'we have had a 'crackdown' on coupon usage. If your Q's beep for any reason - we can no longer take them. There is a sign about it on the door.' The cashier tried to explain to the Mgr. that they were CVS Q's and they should scan - it 'wasn't the customers fault.'

The Mgr. said 'I agree but we no longer can override anything. The override function is no longer in the computer.' She told me to be sure to read the flyer about coupons on my way out the door.

I told her to give the q's back - and I would not make my purchase. On the way out the door - I looked and could not find a flyer posted. So - I went back in the store and asked the Mgr. to show me the flyer on coupon usage and 'beeping' Q's.

She walks out the door and points to a sign that says 'CVS will no longer accept Expired Coupons. Thank You.'

I said 'Okay. Where does it explain about 'beeping' Q's like you stated'. She said 'That applies to beeping Q's too.' I said 'What does? The sign only talks about expired Q's and I don't give you expired Q's anyway.' The MGR stated 'That sign plainly applies to beeping Q's too.'

Dumbfounded as I was....I said 'my Q's were not expired. I just received 2 of them from the scanner'. She said "its not my problem. The rules are the rules'.


Okay - what did I do wrong with this scenerio?????

I was traveling out of state - went by a CVS in NC and tried again. The Mgr waited on me there and said 'don't know why this wont go. It's our Q - so that is crazy that it beeps. Let me fix that for you.'
