First and foremost before reading my thread..u got to understand that I have an ADDICTIVE personality LOL. Anything I do, ends up becoming a FULL FORCE addiction LOL.

I started the coupon thing a few weeks ago. I printed about 200 coupons off the internet, signed up for just about every company website or coupon site to get emails. I bought the Sunday Paper, took the copies of the inserts from my Moms paper and started going through the sales and figuring out what coupons matched. At first it all seemed pretty simple HAHAHAHA. But after reading through AFC I realized there was SOOO much I didnt know about coupons and stores policies. I am starting to lose my mind.

The stores I shop at are Walgreens, Shaws, Market Basket (local), CVS, Target and occassionaly Rite Aid (although I dont do any of the SCRebates cause its just too much for me to deal with LOL).

I have managed in the last few weeks to stock up on Cereal HAHAHA (got most of it FREE at Target) and I stocked up on Baby Wipes, Pasta (local sale at our grocery store). So I totally understand the StockPiling. And I realize that it will take a while for my actual BILL for Grocery Shopping will go down.

What I am struggling with is to begin with we dont have much money and as much as I want to be able to get a great deal on something, I am trying my hardest to not spend too much on things we dont need right away. But im kicking myself thinking that if I dont get it now at this great price (if its FREE I always get it LOL) then when I DO need it I might be paying more. I have been good with not using a coupon (UNLESS I HAVE TO) on somethign that isnt already on sale. I also have not bought things we would NEVER use just to get a good deal. So I know those are a PLUS for my Wallet.

The one place I cant figure out, and not sure if I ever will be able to is Walgreens. I am so CONFUSED about their RR's. I thought they were just like CVS and the ECBs but they arent. Keeping track of all the brands and what produces what and their strange coupon policy of # coupons cannot exceed # of items. I mean math is so not my thing LOL HAHAHAHAHA.

I feel like this whole coupon thing has seriously started to take over my life (how sad does that sound LOL). Being a SAHM and not bringing any money into the house is something I hate, so doing this is helping KEEP some of our Money in the Bank...and I feel like if I dont get the most for our money or Miss a Deal that I am not doing a good job. Anyone else have this feeling?

For example....
Right now I have 5RR (got this for the Wags Buy 20.00 in Toys get 5RR) and I have a 3RR (this is from the Bic Soliel Deal) They both expire 12/01. I have no idea how to use these or make them "ROLL" I dont know what I can use them on or what I cant. And if I just use them stupidly would I be missing out on something UGH...

I also dont get their coupons.
Example...
.39 for Scotch Tape
Limit 3
This was in this weeks AD
Does this mean that I can use this one coupon for 3 of the tape and get all 3 for .39?
IVC-NO CLUE how these work either LOL.

No matter how much I read and how much I think I am understanding about Couponing the more and more confused I get. I cant even make my own scenarios cause I have no clue what im doing LOL...

Now that I just babbled....Anyone have any advice for me LOL

Hi,
I have been A Full Cup member for about a year now and I've gotten some great deals thanks to what I have learned here. However, my deals are usually limited because I only have one set of coupons (sometimes two if my mom or grandma pass them on to me.) But I have gathered that many people use something called coupon clipping services to buy extra coupons?

I've been wondering how this works? And what places are the most reputable to use?

Thanks so much!

I just bought 3 almay pure blends foundations, (STILL FREE our wags took down the signs so I wasnt going to even ask but I am sure glad I did) 4 nail polishes (B1GO), 3 Aussie Hair products ($2 rr each), and a foundation primer (not on sale) my total $43...rr back ($32) so I spent $11 total. :)))) BIG SMILES ALL DAY NOW

Also my CVS trip:

I bought 2 colgate toothpaste (B1GO PLUS 2 $1/1 CPN), 2 robitussin night time cough and cold ($1/1 cpn with ecb's back), and 2 vicks nyquil cold and flu (double pack with a bonus 20% more in each bottle) my total $12.95 after 7.99 ECB'S i got back from the earinse deal last week and I got $10 ECB'S for spending "$20" on the vicks nyquil and robitussin so I spent $2.95 total :))) EXTRA BIG SMILES ALL DAY!!!!!

I want to start with a few stores that I am close to but need some help. If someone could guide me I would appreciate it!!! I would like to start with Meijers, Walgreens and Rite Aide. We also have a local store in Michigan called Plumbs. I already found a good deal there with cereal and coupons. Chex and Cherrios 4/$6 and coupons for $.50 off per box. $.75 a box seems real good to me.

Hi everyone,

I am totally new at this couponing thing. I have been trying to read forums and learn between AFC and couponmom. I feel totally overwhelmed and stressed out by grocery shopping and couponing. I've seen a lot of posts where people have said they go grocery shopping as stress relief?!? What am I doing wrong?

I went to Winn Dixie and Kroger last night. I apologize if I do not use the correct terminology for everything. How do you remember what coupons you used to post on here? My receipts show the cellfire/ss/pg online coupons seperately, but the mq and ip just show up as scanned coupons. I haven't been able to figure out how much I actually saved. I spent a lot of money, but still don't feel like I have the ingredients to make very many meals. I'm ready to just give up. I spent literally hours trying to cut coupons and search for what was on sale (and actually a good deal). It took me about 3 or 4 hours total to shop and by the time I got home it was too late to make dinner :confused2:

Ok for totals...
Winn Dixie (This week doubles coupons up to 0.50) my receipt says:
TOTAL NUMBER ITEMS SOLD= 33
REWARD CARD SAVINGS.......$25.12
MANUF. COUPON SAVINGS....$13.25
MULTIPLE COUPON SAVINGS..$ 4.00
YOU SAVED........................$42.37
TOTAL (with $5.75 tax)........$64.34
This included $15.94 in chicken thighs that I thought were going to be BOGO, but it was only on jumbo packages. I was too tired by then to not get them, as I needed them for what I was going to make last night.
I did get the 4 boxes of chex cereal at 4/$6 and had 2x $1/2 coupons, so $1 per box.

Kroger (Doubles coupons up to 0.50) my receipt says:
TOTAL NUMBER ITEMS SOLD= 95
MFG CPN SAVINGS.................$ 29.64
BONUS CPN SAVINGS..............$ 5.55
STR CPN & KRO PLUS SAVINGS.$ 60.75
TOTAL COUPONS...................$ 95.94
TOTAL SAVINGS (41 pct.).......$ 95.94
TOTAL (including $13.11 tax)...$147.37
This included toilet paper and paper towels. Multiple cleaning products (Lysol!). 8 boxes of GM/Quaker cereal and granola bars.

Is it wrong to list everything? I feel like this is already a long post.

Anyway, I don't feel like I did good at all. I can't afford to spend $200 a week on groceries and still feel like I have nothing to eat but lots of cereal! I won't have to buy cereal for awhile and have enough paper towels and toilet paper to hopefully last a few weeks. I also stocked up on 8 GG box veggies (I had 4 IP for 0.50/2 (DND) and they were on sale for $1.25 each at Kroger.)

I still feel like I spent more than I would have without coupons. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

I'm married but have no kids and alot of stuff seems to be directed towards families so if weekly I can save from buying the paper and just print the coupons for free online I'd like to do that than pay for a paper that I toss or give away most of the coupons cause I don't use those coupons.

I've been getting mine off of ebay, but after this last fiasco of STILL waiting for my broth coupons, I'm thinking about switching methods. *L* Coupon clipping sites intimidate me though, because I don't know which ones are reputable. It does not say manufacturer coupon. It does say in small pring "limit one coupon per customer". So a couple of questions 1. Is this a store coupon? 2. Can I use this one coupon and then a manufacturer coupon with it? 3. Does the limit one coupon per customer mean that particular coupon or if it is a store coupon can I put the manufacturer coupon with it?
Sorry if this has already been reviewed. I read several post to see if it had. Thank you in advance for answering my questions.
