http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_1176.jpg

for my fellow scrapbookers...the paper is basic grey, cardstock is bazzill and the die cut is sizzix

I got the instructions for this from this blog...
The Scrappy Side: Make & Take Monday

i've uploaded and attached a template with the measurements I used. THE TEMPLATE IS MARKED WITH CORRECT MEASUREMENTS BUT IS NOT A TRUE PATTERN (NOT TO SCALE)

you need to cut 2 pieces of 2 sided heavy paper (or cardstock) for the boxes ...overall dimensions of each piece is 9" x 5". score the paper across all lines making sure outside of box is face down when you score...cut where indicated by red dash lines...discard pieces as indicated by grey. fold on scored lines. for center piece, cut one piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" as well as 2 pieces of patterned paper measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Follow the illustrations on the blog for assembly

I have tried cake decorating, crochet, sewing, jewelry making, woodwork. My long term hobby is photomanipulation, I adore photoshop. And photography is a hobby as well.

I am not sure what the photo posting policy is in this forum, but here are some links to some cool stuff.

Some photomanipulating
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...RockinAlex.jpg
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...erSleeping.jpg
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...Pauline001.jpg

Some of my photography
my stepdaughter emma
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...a/EmmaEyes.jpg
My daughter Lillian, the day she came home from the hospital, what a joyous day, 2 and a half months, 4lb 5 oz but that is a whole long story itself.
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...DSC00317-1.jpg
And a more recent one of lillian, she is now 10.5 months and 15 lb.
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75...n/DSC05492.jpg

guess i will stop there or this post will be fifty miles long with photos links.

Idea for Gifting your Glade Candles

I took off the cardstock label/wrapper of one of the Glade scented oil glass candle holders. I traced it and then scanned it. See attachment. I am going to drag in photos of 2009, print the new wrapper on cardstock paper, cut it out and re-label using double stick tape or glue. (I also removed the plastic shrink wrap label around the glass holder.)

Another idea...Trace the existing wrapper/label on a sheet of heavier weight scrapbooking paper and glue a quote, poem or photo. If you have a 2 inch circle punch, this would work great for the center. I am going to cut some new labels out of scrapbook paper and then print the name of the person receiving the gift in the middle using the 2 inch circle punch.

I also thought about buying cute 1 inch ribbon and glueing it around the glass part. Who knows?

Makes for an extra special gift!! Hope this gets your creative juices flowing. Any other ideas?
