Picked up this flyer from my local PC this week. It doesn't have any dates on it, but thought it was interesting how they priced the packages. It looks like the more you buy, the more per pound you pay. Granted, the more expensive package has some nicer cuts of meat in it, but it's hard to judge that you're getting a good deal.

Any one have experiences purchasing from the custom cut meat department? I think it would be nice to have meat directly from the back and not what everyone's fingered before I got there.

PC MEGA SAVINGS PACK
"23 pounder" for $50 = about $2.17 per lb.
"32 pounder" for $70 = about $2.18 per lb.
"38 pounder" for $90 about $2.37 per lb.

(the flyer details the meats and lbs. of each, but it's a little much to type out here)

I was trying to post this at HCW but it took forever for the administrator to approve. So I guess I might as well post it here. Hopefully I dont get censored.

Price Chopper has buy-4-for-$6 sale on Progresso Soup this week. And there's in-store coupon hanging on the shelves for a free 32oz Progresso Chicken or Beef Broth when you buy 4 progresso soups. There are also 2 printable coupons on the internet:

1) $1 off Progresso High Fiber Soup:

Go here: hxxp://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/dropincertainvisualskillsmayprecedealzheimers

(I can't post link so I replaced http with hxxp. You guys know what to do.)

there is an ad on the right side for Progresso (you may have to refresh a few times to get it). Click on that ad to print a coupon for $1 off 1 Progresso High Fiber soup. It allows up to two coupons printed from one computer. I managed to print 4 with two of my computers.

2) 50cents off any Progresso Broth:

This coupon is on coupons.com and not hard to find. Coupon says do not double but my store doubled it anyway.

So I got 4 Progresso High Fiber soups and one chicken broth. Scanned the in-store coupon for the free broth first, then handed over the coupons for soups and broth. My final cost was $6-4x($1)-2x($0.5)=$1. HTH.

We are looking for more Shopping List Assistants for the Price Chopper forum! Currently, massachoomommy is the Price Chopper SLA, but she could really use more help!

Here's some more info about SLAs if you're interested!
Shopping List Assistants (SLAs) are volunteers who enter the weekly sales info and then use the coupon database to find coupons that match those sales. To be a SLA, there are some minimum requirements:
You must be a member of at least 2 months.
You must have at least 100 posts.
You cannot be a team member at a competiting site.

If anyone is interested in helping out as a SLA for Price Chopper, please post in the Contact Us forum. SLAs have access to a private forum where there is information on how to do the matchups, and they earn points for entering matchups which can be cashed in for prizes. We can use multiple SLAs in a forum if several people are interested- that just lessens the work for all!

Thanks!
