SORRY for the title - it's actually a $0.92 MM (duh!) LOL

Here's a GREAT deal on Oscar Mayer bacon - grab this up while you can!

Last night I purchased 4 packs of Oscar Mayer bacon, which is on sale for $1.77/each (first 4).

I received TWO Catalinas for $2 OYNO! I'm assuming if you buy 2 packs you get 1 Cat. That's a great price all by itself, but combine this with the MFC from the 11/15 Smart Source insert and you've got a screaming deal!

4 packs @ $1.77/each: $7.08
use four $0.75/1 MFCs (11/15 SS): -$4.00
TOTAL OOP: $3.08

Receive two $2/OYNO Cats: -$4.00...makes this a $0.92 MM!

Time to bring home some major bacon, ladies (and gents) :)

I thought the ad said "all MFR coupons under 1.00 will be redeemed at 1.00"

So I went Wednesday, got great deals (used a bunch of IP's and MFR coupons and they all doubled) - the q's for keebler of course did not, since they were more than 1.00.

Ok so I went today, and she said my total to me I wanted to cry......I was confused. I paid, had two crying kids so i got in my car and noticed they did not double anything and they took my coupons under 1.00 at their value (ex. 40 cents was 40 cents, nothing more).

WHY?

Did they change?

I was already pissed at the register there b/c they ran out of Jose O'Le, and when I asked them about it, the employees said it was not on the 10 for special, yes it is! It's RIGHT HERE on the ad! So now I had to toss in a few items I didnt have coupons for to make up for the Jose O'Le I didnt buy and then none of my coupons were taken at 1.00 value......

What should I do? I didnt go back, two kids crying, both needed a nap....DH does not come home until next week.....So if I trape back in there w/ all my food I'm going to look like a freaking idiot.

Today's Republic has a story about a looming employee strike next Friday at Fry's & Safeway basically over payment for health care. Presently both stores pay employee health care, but now want the employee to pay weekly $5 single or $15 family toward coverage.
The stores will use store managers and other salaried workers to fill in, as well as bring salaried employees from other states AND they could hire temporary workers. With so many out of work, that shouldn't be hard to fill.
But I am wondering how this will that affect our shopping experience?

There is soooo much free with the mix and match deal this week after coupons! I just got back from Frys (had to go before work so they would still have stuff  ). Here is what I did (prices shown are prices when you buy 10):

7 keebler fudge shoppe cookies (Dessert can get expensive, these are nice to stock up on in case you get a sweet tooth  ) $.99 ea x 7 = $6.93
3 boxes betty crocker potatoes $.99 ea x 3 = $2.97
4 Dole mandarin oranges, 11 oz. $.49 ea x 4 = $1.96
3 Bumble Bee tuna pouches $.49 ea x 3 = $1.47
2 16 oz bags of Kraft shredded cheese $1.99 ea x 2 = $3.98
1 bag BBQ Chex mix (Hubby loves this stuff! ) $1.49

Total: $18.80

Used
3 $1.50/2 keebler fudge shoppe cookies printable coupons.com
1 $0.55/1 keebler fudge shoppe cookies blinkie (did not double because it says do not double)
3 $0.25/1 Betty Crocker Box or Pouch Potatoes, except Potato Buds from Sunday Supplement 09/13/2009 GM
4 $0.50 off dole fruit printable (found in data base)
3 $0.55/1 Bumble Bee Premium Tuna Pouches 2.5 oz. or 5 oz. from Sunday Supplement 09/13/2009 SS
1 $1.00/2 Kraft or Cracker Barrel Natural Cheese 6oz or larger printable (found in data base)
1 $0.50/1 chex mix printable from coupons.com
(I had two chex coupons on my card from shortcuts and cellfire, but they did not come off... they were $.50 each, so it should have made for free chex mix, but those ecoupons are hit or miss for me :confused2: )

Frys is double, triple, quadrupling coupons up to $1 (sometimes $.99) this week again! So when all was said and done the the potatoes, fruit, and tuna were free!

No tax on groceries in AZ!
Total after coupons and savings: $1.80
A total savings of $54.73 ($37.75 from club card & $ 16.98 from coupons)

After this and the target deal on cookies, we are stocked up for sure!
