This is a semi-autographical book.
The main Charcter Gabriel Noone an author
starts talking on the phone w/ a 13 yr boy who writes a book about his abusive childhood.
Gabriel starts to wonder if the boy exsists or if its all a hoax.

A movie of the book is coming out starring Robin Williams.
They always say the book is better, so I was excited to get this book
having seen the movie previews. so far , I'm kindof disappointed.

The book goes into great detail of the main characters
past relationships. Finally on chapter 13 it starts w/ the boy & if its a hoax.

Maybe others will enjoy the book.
Personally I have skipped pages at a time.
they are not missed.

If you see the movie let me know how you liked it.

forced myself to finsh this book.
I was very disappointed.

the whole story about him & the kid seemed like an afterthought
to the author, not what this book was really about.

maybe the movie is better.
