My library is great. I no longer buy books since i can get everthing new there. You can reserve online & they even have a drive-thru to pick up.This is wonderful as i'm rehabbing from an illness. My daughter just drives thru & picks up for me using her card. That way i don't hear too much griping from her.What i do is go into the Borders & Barnes & Noble sites ...check out wht's coming up & reserve it before it's even out.You can also check the status of your account online at any time.I used to buy so many books but i can read a hardcover a day so it wasn't worth it any more.

Wish our library had a drive though. They do have a bookmobile that comes to our subdivision, so that is great though! I love our library too! Never buy a book!

The public library I work at used to have a book mobile until budget cuts ended it, but we do have a home delivery program. We just got new self check out machines that patrons started using yesterday, and they are pretty cool. Touchscreen and everything.

That's a FANTASTIC idea! I often do requests for books while looking at amazon or bn, or even paperbackswap. I've never lived in a town with a fantastic library but I always do support them!

wow a drive through would be pretty cool!! At mine I like that we can re-new and hold things online at least.
