Hi, I know some of you shop at Dominicks too so thought I would share this. The Ragu is on sale for .99 a bottle. In addition to that, I bought 4 bottles today and a catalina for $2 OYNO spit out. I used my .75/2 and I think a .50/2 coupons so it was a very good deal. I looked in my holder and found a $1/3 coupon as well and some $1/2 wyb pasta coupon too. Just thought I would pass on the find to people who may be interested.

I really do wish we get our own Dominicks Chicagoland forum because the Safeway forum is very confusing since some stores double unlike here in Chicago.

I asked a couple weeks ago if they would start a Dominick's forum, and they basically said they have the same sales as Safeway. But, if there is a big difference in the sales, they will start a separate forum....

I agree I can't follow the Safeway forum at all....are the sales even similar. I can't tell!!!

I agree --- I've been reading the Safeway forum for a while also, but many of the very nice people there get to double their coupons, so it's not very helpful for us with Dominick's instead...

I would love a separate forum...so would a few friends I have linked to here...the other is soooo confusing...and I can not get it right for my life with the doubles when we never can

just a note even though our dominicks doesnt double some take expired coupons too which is kinda helpfull. at least the one in frankfort does which i go to during their big sales

btw arnt they having the $10 off $50 this weekend too ? YAY!

You know I used to be in our Dominick's everyday just about when it was still owned by the original owner, but it got sold and ours was closed and knocked down due to poor sales. Lately I have been going again because they finally have started to lower their prices.

I went to a local store where all my Dominick's employees ended up and my fav cashier told me that it is sooo horrible at that store because at the old store everyone was like family. It sure felt that way. Now I don't even think about Dominick's at all unless there is a loss leader I just have to have..

There was an Omni near me that got remodeled into a Dominicks. It was very large and I'm sure the remodel costed lots of money. They had a great big grand opening and... shortly after... it got closed down as well. It's okay though because now it's a Hobby Lobby, . I do miss the old Dominicks too.

we had that too, many moons ago...but now it is an empty building...has been for quite some time too...I have not been back there in ages...but I am sure it is still empty...the building is huge...

I don't see why we couldn't post some deals here? what do you think?

I would really love to take advantage of their buy $25 in freezer products and get $10 OYNO and combine that with the $10/50 coupon in the sales ad. But I don't know which products are included. The ad just states look for items marked with this tag!?! So I emailed dominick's and asked if they could send me a list of products...then I would have to figure out prices, etc. I wonder if it would be worth it. I hear how so many people have problems with Dom and they are pricey!!!

I think posting a few here would be good but I think we need to make it REALLY clear that what we are posting is a Dominick's deal so that those of us with out our heads screwed on tight (read...me me me) don't try to do it at Jewel because we did not read right!!

I agree about making it clear. And..Debi you really need to stop beating yourself up about these deals!!!! We ALL get them confused, and unless we write it down or print it out none of us would be able to get it right!!!

ALL Dominicks are supposed to accept expired coupons (indefinately...drag out those 2004s if you have them) They are a 992 store like Jewel so, the old wts you forgot to use are easier to use at Dominicks.

They ALSO take all stores catalinas as long as they are manufacturer coupons and have a redemption address.

Barb, do you happen to know their policy about using those $10/$50 coupons? I used one a few weeks back along with other coupons. I had the 10/50 on top of my other coupons and the cashier took the 10/50 off and saved it to scan at the end. My total was around $50 after she scanned by coupons, only because I grabbed some products that weren't included in a sale by accident and didn't realize until I got home.

But I have a feeling that if my total wasn't at or above $50 she may have told me that I couldn't use it. Just speculating..I read the coupon and there is NO wording on there that it has to be $50 AFTER manufacture coupons. It does say it has to be $50 after fresh valu savings and STORE coupons, but nothing about manu coupons. I am thinking about asking the super/mgr the next time I go so I don't have a problem at checkout! What do you think?

Thanks! I did see those in the ad, but I don't need any of those things right now. I just was hoping to save myself a trip to the store!!! Of course, I could stock up on some more of the Haagen dazs.. I still have a bunch of the $2/2 coupons. Now that I think about his 2.50 each isn't bad for those! Do you know if the $25 is calculated on sale/shelf/fresh valu price?

So, I went and did this deal just now. I picked up four ragu's used 2 save .75off when you buy 2 and got my 10% off and did not receive the 2$oyno!

If you buy 3 Ragu's you get a $2 cat back.
Buy 6 Ragu's = $5.98
Use 3 .75/2 q's = -2.25
5.98 - 2.25 = $3.73 and get 2 $2 cats back for a total of -.27 oop
I have not tried it but I'm on my way out the door to hopefully find a shelf full of Ragu.

It sounds like you should have. I think I read on another site that people are having problems with this offer and it seems like only certain varities are working..don't quote me..

Or, the catalina was down. Did you talk to customer service or return the product?

Not yet, It still wasn't a bad deal I only paid $2.14 for 4 of them because it gave me 10% off my purchase. I am not complaining but c'mon people get your cats in order!!! Is it 3 or 4 or 5 or6? What flavor am I supposed to get!! ForCryEye!!!

I received a post card in the mail stating I will be getting the 10% thru 2/28 I don't know how I got it I just got it!! The only thing I can think of is that I haven't spent as much Money there as I use to since I transferred to JEWEL!!!
