Dollar General carries name brand items and their own store brand stuff as well. Some Dollar General's carry frozen food and boxed items, as well as household goods, toiletries and clothes. Dollar General is a great way to mazimize your money when one combines their sales with coupons. They also clearance out their seasonal merchandise after the holiday or season is over.

Dollar General accepts manufacturer coupons and they can be combined with Dollar General coupons which are usually found in the Sunday paper inserts once a month. Dollar General does not accept internet printed coupons and will not double or triple coupons.

Dollar General also offers a rebate incentive program every couple of months, with the rebate forms found online at Dollar General | Save Time. Save Money. Every day! or in-store as well.
