Family Dollar accepts manufacturer coupons which can be combined with Family Dollar coupons. The Family Dollar coupons can usually be found in their sales flyers. Family Dollar usually puts out a sales flyer twice a month and the prices are good for two weeks. Every once in a while, they will have a special $/$$ coupon. I will try and keep you all advised of those. As of right now, Family Dollar will not accept internet printed coupons (straight from corporate) and they do not take competitor coupons or price match. They do however, carry name brand items and you can still get a really good value for your dollar with the right sale and the right coupon.

I was there today they tried to tell me only 2 coupons on one order even if differnt item so tomorrow iI will call corprate.I use 2 on L .det and tried to use foil one for 2/$1 they said they couldn't use any more on order so mad..I also tried to buy Sodas with coupon and was told no also.

Fyi Family Dollar, Family Pantry Brand Steak Sauce Is Very Good, Very Close To A-1, Only $1.40
Also I Pick Up About 10 Other Family Pantry Items To Try, So 'll Keep You Posted. I Never Thought I Would Be Doing Any Grocery Shopping At Family Dollar But If The Products Are As Good As The Steak Sauce, It's A 50% Savings On Some Items Without The Fuss Of A Coupon. Happy Shopping

I Tried The "polar" Brand Canned Oysters Last Night And They Are As Good As Any Other Brands I Have Tried. $1.60 A Can @ Family Dollar. That's About Half Price Of The Grocery Store.

Also I Tried The "family Pantry" Cheddar And Shells And It Is Not Like The Velveeta Shells And Cheese.

I found a coupon for Downy at Family Dollar today. It was on the shelf & it says "retailer coupon". I tried to use it along with a manufacturer's coupon & was told that they could not do that. I told her one was a store coupon and one was a manufacturer's coupon but she said it didn't matter--only one coupon per item. She said I had to choose which one I used so I said to just take it off the order. She also said that if a customer had a coupon and also a tax-exception letter (for a non-profit group) that they could not use both but had to choose one or the other. She said she did not know how other stores did but that was their policy. Any one else have this experience?

GO ONLINE AND EMAIL CORPORATE! I did when I had a silly problem with my store manager, I got a call, within hours, from the DM, who apoligized and said it won't happen again, it hasn't.

I don't go to Family Dollar often but last time I went, they charged sales tax on items that were not taxable in the state of Pennsylvania. When I presented them with the list of items that were not taxed; they said - "well, it's not in our computer and I can't fix it."

Family Dollar and Dollar General both take Qs. There are couple of people who hit the lottery and live where their DOLLAR Trees take Qs! Could you imagine!?

Me either! I didn't even think to ask the cashier, just assumed they didn't, . I gotta get my doopa back over there!
