I was only able to get 4 bottles of Wisk today. My entire trip had to be replanned. There is apparently a shortage of Wisk in this area as I called 8 DGs and all together they had less than 20 bottles. None of them had enough to make a trip.

I did see that the Wisk will be $4 until July 2nd so we can do it this week too.

I wont be around this weekend. If I did plan a trip I'd have to borrow my parents car and go for a drive without my kids..........Besides that I'll be enjoying my families company.

Depending on how long of a trip you have planned, a drive without the kids might be a nice little break.

LOL Right now its only the weekend. But I might stay down in the area until the following weekend. Don't know yet. I know hubby would miss us if we were gone that long.

I'm going to do 10 bottles of Bayer for $2.50 each and use the $3/1 coupon from this week's SS. It will give me $10 in overage so buy some paper towels.

According to corporate, they should! Have you told them it is policy to allow overage?

the manager offered to call the store man if i wanted to go ahead and wait would b 3 hrs before he got there, it was such a hassel i just left told him never mind, well since i live down the street from it i figured if i make a big deal of it they will not let me use coupons anymore so i just go only when needed... too bad i love shopping there, but thanks scoott09

They often do the coupons on their website but I don't think you can use MQs with it.

I never had issues with mine thankfully or the few around that I occasionally go to. I think the stores in my area are well trained. I should write a letter to corporate.

I've had issues wit mine not allowing the overage, cause their computer wouldn't allow it..... it beeped every time they scanned a coupon for the overage. Probably going to try a different one next week to see what they say.

I will do the 10 bayer($2.50) and 5 wisk($2). Subtotal= $45. Total = 0 Plus tax after $5/25 (10) $3/1 Bayer($30) and (5) $2/1 Wisk($10)!

I have around 5 dollar generals near me....hope they have bayer stocked!

I got a coupon for $5 off $20 for a store that's not near my house but they told me that I could use it anyways.

I ended up getting 4 bottles of Wisk and 2 packages of Crystal Light Mocktails for $4 + tax. It only took 4 people to figure out how to do the transaction. In the end, they did what I said to do to begin with. ._.

Just got back from today's shopping and was finally able to get my Wisk, as well as the Bayer. I had to get a ton of other stuff too but after 3 different transactions, I spent $45 and saved $43. Pretty good considering I got all our household items that I did not have coupons for.

And the Bayer coupons worked for the overage without any issues!

Yuck! I'm glad I live in a state where sales tax is calculated after coupons. I live on the border of 3 states but don't like to go to the other stores in other states because of it.

Dollar General in Grand Praire, TX. does not allow their customers to use the $5/$25 until after all coupons are deducted and it has to be more than $25 from that point. The manager said it was company policy to deduct their coupon last (if applicable). Is this correct? I could not find anything stating this on the coupon policy.

That is incorrect. The $25 is determined before coupons and pre tax. Unless they have changed something which i highly doubt.
