I know, I had a feeling it was coming also.I think since the $5/$25 is going so well for them that every 2 weeks is starting to be a regular thing.I love it!

Box $2.50 2 - All Fabric Softener Dry Sheets $1.50 2 - Oxydol 1.00 5 - Finish Quantum $3 Total $25 Use 1 - $5/25 DG coupon 2 - $3 off both All AND Clorox 2 (IP) 2 - $1 off ANY Oxydol (IP) 5 - $1 off ANY Finish Quantum Total OOP = $7 before tax I'm am about out of Paper Towels, too, so I'm going to be looking for the prices on those for any match-ups. I'll post if I find anything good.

Here's what I have planned: 4x Clorox2 Powder $2.50 4x All Sheets $1.50 2x Wisk $4 1x Kiss Nails $1 Sub-total: $25 Coupons: 1x $5/$25 4x $3 Clorox2/All 2x $1.25 Wisk 1x $1 Kiss Total: $4.50 I was hoping to use the Glade Warmer coupons but they have the new barcode only which means they won't scan. Maybe I can think of a way to use them.

If laundry detergent is still $4 might do that again $4x6 detergents = $24(if the ALL is still on sale i'll get that) $1 snack candy $25 $5/$25 coupon $20 it would be less if the ALL is on sale I might do Olay and Aussie/herbal essence since I have coupons for those. need shampoo/conditioner and hairspray between those it should be to hard making it to $25

I like the Swiffer idea someone mentioned during the last $5/$25 deal. It was this; Swiffer Duster Starter Kit- $4.50 (x2)} $9 Swiffer Refills- $8 (x2)} $16 Total: $25 -$5/$25 q -BOGO Swiffer q from 3/4 P&G (x2)} $16 = $4 I really do need some refills and $1 each is a good price.

| Does the full $16 come off? I'm unsure how the BOGO coupons work with the store coupon since they have the enter a price usually on BOGO coupons.

Thanks for pointing that out! I did this deal last time but by sheer luck my refills happened to be scanned first. There's a new cashier at my Dollar General- who I've come to realize hate's me and my coupons with a fiery passion - so I'm going to have to be very careful about getting the refills scanned first.

| Will do, I really hope I don't have to get a manager or corporate involved, I only have one Dollar General in my area and I don't want to have to deal with the undue resentment my pushing the matter might bring on (don't want to get a bad rep at my DG, but I don't want to over pay either). The store has two nice cashiers that work there but this recent cashier and the manager (who I just met today) don't seem very coupon friendly. Just today they tried to tell me I couldn't use a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon together (wouldn't even scan it at first) referencing some mysterious "policy change" that they had a "meeting" for that she didn't have time to inform me of. I some how doubt that was quite truthful, considering I heard her say something about couponers "holding up their lines" to the cashier and the fact that they eventually scanned it. Oh well here's to hoping the swiffer deal goes down better.

I have this planned if my DG still has the stock: 6 Clorox 2 Powders @ $2.50. $15 2 All sheets @ $1.50. $3 2 Midnite @ $3. $6 1 Curad Elmo $1 -$5. $5/$25 -$6. 2 $3 off All and Clorox 2 -$6. 4 $1.50 off any Clorox 2 -$2. $1 off Midnite -$0.50 off Curad Should be $5.50 plus tax. Will do Swiffer as well, but I'll mix it up a bit. I want the wet cloths. The duster is the cheapest kit so I'll do those. I think the wet refills are $5.50 or $6. I can't remember. So, let's say this: 2 Swiffer wet refills @ $6. $12 2 Swiffer duster kits @ $4.50. $9 3 Kiss nail stickers @ $1. $3 1 Curad Elmo. $1 -$5. $5/$25 - $12. 2 BOGO @ $6 -$3. 3 $1 Kiss nails -$0.50 Curad $4.50 plus tax. Will adjust on the fly when I find out the cost of the wet mop refills. I might whip up a few more later. Last edited by sSsLiZARdSsS; 03-22-2012 at 07:13 AM. |
