Family dollar refused to take my Manufactured q and Family dollar q in the same transction.

If I'm not mistaken, their policy states that they do accept both store and manufactured coupons together. I would have a talk with the manager or make a phone call.

I went back today and spoke a manager. She apologized and stated that the cashier didnt understand and probably didnt want to take the time to deal with it. And I said dont you think he should be on his way out the door!!!! Any how I got my Caress!!! .91 a bottle

Thanks for the caress post :-) I was also able to get degree deodorant for men for .25..... but what a pain trying to get the coupons to ring properly ugh family dollar needs to fix there systems thank goodness the cashier was cool about it :-)

Caress is on sale 2/5 family dollar has a coupon with 1.50/2 and there's a Manu coupon for $1/1 making the price .80 each and degree is on sale for $2, FD coupon .75 manu coupon 1.00/1 making them .25 :-)

Well, I went today to buy 2 Lysol wipes and also 2 lysol toilet cleaner (mfc cpn and the DG cpn). It took a long time to check out. First, I had to wait for the employee to come check me out. Then I handed her the cpns. She asked another employee if the DG cpn could be used. The other employee asked the mgr. The mgr asked to check their list from corporate to see if the DG cpns I printed from their website is listed as "not to accept cpn list". They acted like I wasn't there. Then, they couldn't find their paperwork. The mgr called another store to talk about this. He was then told on the phone to have the cashier try scanning the cpn (which she did not try at all). Then the mgr asked the cashier to manually enter the code and it went through just fine. It took a long time. No apologies for wait or anything. I was made to feel like I was trying to use a wrong cpn when they are totally legit from the DG website. I rarely shop at DG and I know why. Sorry for your frustration too...just wanted to share mine! |
