Millions of people head down to Walt Disney World every year, knowing that when they arrive they will be forced to purchase lots of overpriced souvenirs. Maybe you are one of them. But did you know that there is a place you can go just a few miles from the park's gates where you can find many of the exact same items available within the parks for less then half the price? Disney outlet shopping! Yes, folks, Walt Disney World actually has outlets right in Orlando where both current and past WDW merchandise can be purchased. Current items tend to run about 1/3 to 1/2 park price, while seasonal and previous year's stock may be up to 90% off retail. I have purchased tshirts for as low as $1.99 here! We always stop and buy all our souvenirs and I stock up for holidays as well. They have toys, clothes, collectibles, pins, and more! Most of the merchandise is Disney resort exclusive-look for the Walt Disney World tags. There are 3 stores in Orlando: Disney's Character Premier store located at the Orlando Premium Outlets Orlando Premium Outlets Disney's Character Warehouse store located at Prime Outlets Orlando, Mall 1 Prime Outlets Character Corner Store at Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores Orlando Outlet Shopping at The Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores All 3 of these stores offer awesome stuff at unbelievable prices. Inventory changes frequently so you may want to stop by at both the beginning and end of your Disney vacation. We generally stop before to get tshirts and such and then after to pick up the stuff the kids wanted in the parks for much less. Have fun shopping! I recommend bringing an empty suitcase to put all your purchases in cuz if you're anything like me, you'll find a ton!

Yes we also stop at the outlet in Destin, Fl on the way to Disney. We are coming from Louisiana so its not far out of our way. We found some great deals a pin collection on sale for $5.00 and the orginial price was $25 that was with the nice Mickey lanyard and 4 pins! A great deal. And some cute clothes also.

We actually went to the Walmart that was right by Disneyworld. Bought my DD and other family members postcards, t-shirts, a minnie mouse purse, little things to put on her crocks, etc.

Another great idea, but if your kids insist on things that came from the parks these outlets rock!

I bought several items ay an outlet in April. In September, we took my 4 year old for her first visit. We told she would be visited by the Fairy Godmother. Every night we placed a couple items at the foot of her bed. She loved it and never asked to buy anything in the parks.
