I went into Dierbergs today to pick up a prescription and saw where they had Chinet plates for 2 for $5.00. I didn't have any dollar off coupons with me but on the crystal plates they had a $1.00 peelie so I got two sets of the crystal plates and had a coupon to buy one Chinet plate get the chinet lunch plates (32 count) for free. So I got 2 crystals sets and 2 sets of 32 lunch plates for $3.19. Then I got a catalina for $3.00 off my next trip to Dierbergs - don't ever remember getting one of those. Lots of plates for 19 cents in the end.

I did this exact deal today with the same coupons and didn't get the $3 cat. Our Dierbergs here in St Louis runs their ad Tuesday-Monday. The catalina machine's green light was on. I guess the deal is over??

I think it was a fluke I got the $3.00 Catalina as the lady in front of me had a large order and used lots of coupons. I wondered if the coupon belonged to her. I went back to get more plates and was purchasing 4 sets of crystal plates using the $1.00 off peelie and had 2 coupons to get the lunch plates for free. The manager said I couldn't use the free coupon since I used a coupon on the crystal plates. Same thing I did 2 days before but oh, well.

No catalina and was really allowed to use the coupons as I did the day before. Oh, well.
