JC Penney Wed. 11:00 Blowout SALE~Sister In Law was just in JC Penneys.

She overhead the cashier telling someone that they will not open until 11:00 on Wed. for their big BLOWOUT SALE.

So get a babysitter, and call your friends, because this one is their BIGGIE final clearance until summer clearance.

Do you have any idea what the prices will be? I need to hold onto my receipt because we just spent $147 in there on DH!

This is the green clear away, everything that is clearanced will be marked green(75% off). Today was the last day for extra off clearance, Wednesday will be big mark down day, corp gives the prices but after a couple days it will depend on store manager how quickly it goes lower. I would expect it will go pretty quickly to make room for the new American Living line that comes out this month.

Tonight at my local store they had boys 2 piece pajamas in size 6 w/ a green tag marked at 4.99 then you got an additional 50% off of that- wow right! Too bad my son would need a 7 for next year. They also had mens corduroys marked at $9.99 then you got an additional 50% off!

Is the sale going on in all states?

I was just at JC Penney's yesterday and they were already marking the shoes, jackets and winter clothes down for kids, men and women- they called it "green ticket". For example, if an item was marked $19.99 it was green ticketed to $7.97. It was only on clothing, the housewares were not "green ticketed" yet.

And Yes it should be good in all states.

I was there this morning, (Michigan) and they were already marking down clothes w/green tag. I did get a womens Columbia coat, reg $150 for $25. And I noticed women's leather boots, high heal, just below the knee, were marked down to $9.97. I'm going back tomorrow to get some things that weren't marked down this morning.

And don't forget to use your 15% coupon for doing their survey!!

I called - the one near me in GA is doing the same thing- I was gonna bump this post but could not find it- hooray! Look out JCPenney- here I come...I am 1/2 a mile away- so I hope I can make it! There was a coat I wanted for my DD for next year- it was regularly $75 marked to $30- wonder if it will be green ticketed??? Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oooooooh maybe I should check Penney's on my way home tonight. I have a gift card buring a hole in my pocket... Can't wait!!

I was at my local JCPenneys yesterday and they were already marking items down. I went looking specifically for boys clothing and found nothing. I found a Liz sweater for myself for $3.97 and a Jones top also for myself for $3.97.

I need to go there!! Maybe my husband will get off work early tomorrow and I can go, I have class in the morning, then I have doctors appointment so I have to pick my son up early from preschool. :-(

The ad says that the store will open 11Am on Wednes but call to check your store. Ours is opening at 9AM, so you can shop before the crowd.

Any Idea of what they will have on sale? I dont wanna run out there for clothes for myself, but for the kids I would.

anything that has been marked red clearance will now be green. So all winter clothes, boots, christmas gifty stuff, flannel sheets, ipod docks, games... some stuff is just marked down cause the new line coming later this week, and there is no room for it.

I want to go out there...but it's been snowing sooooo bad that I'm not sure it's worth the trip. *sigh* Maybe I should flip a coin. haha.

I just got back now. I bought children's clothing. I saw baby clothes for $1.97 and toddler clothes $2.97 & $4.97. I told my friends to go. They had the green clearance signs. I saw a bunch of spring & summer clothes in the back room. (My ds was running around) hth

I went back this morning, WOW! I spent $97 and saved $630. I love it. This morning I got a women's Columbia winter coat, a pair of women's jeans, belt, shirt, men's shirt, men's Nike t-shirt, men's belts, 2 pair of boys jeans, 6 pair of girls jeans, 2 bras, & women's leather boots.
Since I've been shopping the green tags these last few weeks, I have saved $2100 and only spent $300 total!!!!

JcPenney's is my new favorite store!!!

When you get home, do the survey on the internet and get a 15% off coupon so you can go back and snap up any bargains that you regretted not buying.

I got a Dickie's flannel lined jacket, $8.24 after 15%. At Sears they where marked down to $20.99, exact same jacket.

I had gone the week before and got 3 ski jackets, $25, $21. Now they are marked down to $19.99.

If anyone lives near the Woodfield Mall Penny's in Schaumburg, IL they had a lot of coats left.

We went last night and got DH 5 shirts for $4.97 each. Good stuff a Dockers sweater and some really nice work shirts. Got DD a couple cute onesies for 97 cents!! Shirt for me for 19.99 (I didn't find that there were really good sales in the women's dept).

Also, I had the 15% off receipt for doing the survey from my last purchase.
