You can freeze it to cook with (like to use in casseroles) but it doesn't hold up well after being frozen to use on top of things or in a dip. It seperates a lot and the texture and flavor are just off.

That's usually the way it works for me. I come to AFC and see all the great sale stuff starting Sunday or Monday and mine starts up on Wednesday. Hope yours does to!

FYI- You can turn sour cream upside down in the fridge if you have not opened it and it will last a long, long time. It acts like a vacumn seal or something but it really works.
