Will BRU price match another store's sales ad, then allow you to use Qs as well?

BRU will price match another store's sale ad (must bring to store); but I'm not sure if they will then allow you to use a Q.

Back in March I was looking to buy DD a new car seat. I was in the store and they had what I wanted on clearance since it was a floor model but I knew I could get it cheaper online. So I asked if they could lower the price. They said not on the clearance one but if I printed out the info ion the one online (had to be exact same one) they would price match it!!!
So I printed it out and brought it to the store. Had to go to cust service to pay. All they lady at cust service said was wow your getting a great deal, then I handed my 15% coupon to her and she said WOW your getting a REALLY good deal...

That was it...I saved like $70 on a Britax Marathon!!!

I wonder if they price match on diapers and wipes too? That would be really sweet with all these $7 off coupons I have!

They do NOT price match just to let everyone know. If they do they can get in some serious trouble. Hope this helps.

I got an ad a few weeks ago and it said they DO price match on certain items, like exersaucers, carseats, playpens, etc. Big baby gear. But you must take the competitor ad.

I used to work there (just a few months ago) and was always told by corp. that we weren't supposed to. I'll have to find out from corp. again if this is still true or not.

It's probably a new thing, trying to get more business in this crappy economy. I went again today (extra 75% off clearance prices YESSS!) and picked up a flyer it reads
" price match valid in store only at BRU and TRU. Applies to car seats, strollers, travel systems, high chairs, play yards, swings, bouncers, bassinets, and entertainers only. Must show vaild and dated competitor printed advertisement showing identical item and lower price. Does not apply to online or website advertisements and prices. Prices are matched after deducting any "R" us coupon savings from "R"us price. Price match given only within 14 days of "R" us purchase date with a vaild receipt"

I'm going to go call my old store and ask if they do this and if they tell me no, I'll call corp. My store was always very unfriendly when it came to customers. We were the first store to have the no receipt, no return policy as we were the tester store for it. And then when we became a side by side store, it got worse. The TRU side was there first and they let the BRU people know it really bad. I was there before the BRU side came into the building, but moved to that side as a manager when we opened. I remember being 6 months pregnant closing the BRU side of the building by myself and having someone come in to pick up furniture. Needless to say, he had to come back because no one on the TRU side would help. So, now when I go into a store, because of my experience at TRU/BRU, I feel bad for most cashiers because how badly their treated by their own store.

Well, sorry for the long post, and like I said, hope you got to eat I remember that preggy feeling and sometimes I miss it (shhh don't tell my hubby). Well, I'm off to get ready because Kmarts doubles start in a little over an hour (up to $3!!!) TTYL

well that sucks they would treat their employees like that! Yeah, our TRU and BRU are side by side also, I usually go to the BRU store down the road instead. Bigger and better selection.
