Today I bought dh some Active Lifestyle Cereal as they had it on sale for $2.39 for a box and I had a 55c coupon (from Kroger). I had bought it because I thought it would double but the customer service lady (cashier asked her) said that they only doubled manufacturer coupons. Does anyone know, do they usually double their own coupons? When I asked before they didn't make any distinction- only that they doubled up to 55c.

I have had some .35 coupons from kroger that didn't double and my store doubles up to .50, I am pretty sure on the coupons, that it had said they would not double.

I have been told that the coupons from Kroger do not double, no matter the amount.

ditto...mine will double manufacturer ones up to 50 cents..but not their own no matter the amount..the benefit though if you get the booklets of coupons sent to you..is often their coupons are for things not normally covered by a coupon..their own brands of things/bakery items and such..yesterday I picked up 2 boxes of their fried chicken..marked down and then had a coupon for fried chicken..so I got 16 pieces for $4...not ripping..but I didn't have to cook and we're getting 3 meals out of it..

If it is a Kroger coupon they will not double it. Ours doubles mfg coupons up to .65.

No They never double their own coupons.. I get booklets from them weekly and not once have they ever doubled them... They also do not partially double coupons... Say 75 cents off they do not make it 1.00 They only double 50 cents or less...

Wish it was not that way!!!!!!!

My Kroger wont' double their own coupons at all, but they double manu up to 50c, and they will bump 55c up to $1. I don't think they did that before, but I noticed it happening starting last week, so this may be a new system policy, you might check your local store!

Also, mine will let me use the coupons ON the products (wine tags and the "save now" sticker coupons) ALONG WITH the coupons I brought into the store. I got almost $1 back on every salad dressing I bought the other day . I don't know whether this was a fluke, a badly-trained cashier, or a standard policy, but they've done it for me at least twice now, and they double BOTH the winetag and the one I give them. My mom says they've always done that for her at Kroger too...

How do you get weekly booklets from Krogers? I would love to get them because I shop at Krogers.

That explains a lot. I was just coming on here to ask about that b/c I used a bunch of coupons over the weekend and couldn't figure out why some didn't do a partial double. I assumed when the sign said "up to 50 cents" it meant they would do up to an extra 50 cents on any coupon.
