This just goes to show that Word Of Mouth really *IS* a force to be reckoned with! I read a lot of great emails posted in here that were written in the past week . . . and couldn't be happier with the phone response you received! WTG! Maybe they'll get their stuff in order and we can all go back to LIKING to shop at Target!

I had a horrible experience myself, and want to call corporate, can you guys give me the number or tell me where on the website I can get it? Mind you, my nearest target is 50 miles away and I only make a trip when it counts. I had all coupons to match my product, and he kept saying you can't use this and you can't use that, so I left about 150.00 worth of merchandise and told him to never mind. uggg Obviously with my coupons, it would have been much less!!!!!!!!!!!!

i may as well add my target trip to the list. i went to target today to get a few items and i had coupons for everything i was going to buy. i am well aware of their coupon policy. somehow my cashier gets frustrated because i had coupons that were more than the items and she was saying that target can't give me cash back. i explained that i wouldn't get cash back, just adjust the coupon. well, she had no idea on what to do. she calls gstl and he comes over. first thing he said was one target coupon and one manf coupon. the cashier told him that i have coupons that are more than the item and he looked like he didn't know what to do. i call myself trying to explain the coupons, he gets confused and says to put the coupons with the items and he would ring up everything like that. that didn't work. he call ap. ap comes over and the gstl and the cashier try to explain everything. ap tells them to adjust the coupons. all the while the cashier is saying that i'm getting things for free. so what if i get things for free. i was able to use most of my coupons and i ended up paying a total of $4.10 for 13 items. i had to constantly take items in and out of my bags to show that i had the correct item. the funny thing is that everytime gstl rang up an item and then scaned the coupon, it said item not found. the biggest problem was that i had a $5.00 off 3 and coupons for those three items. i was told that i couldn't use all those coupons. wtf. gstl said " i'm already giving you $5.00 off, you can't use the other coupons. i also had a $1.00 of any powerade and it was $0.79. even ap was like just adjust the price. after all that i decide to go to a super target and all the coupons that i had a problem with at the first store, i had no problem at the second, the cashier took every coupon. i know what target to go to from now on. sorry this is so long. cashiers need to know what the policies are before they try to tell a GUEST what they can and can't use a coupon on.

Well..I too have the same problems on occasion..
On this occasion it really p****ed me off..

Laws in Michigan are pretty stict with mispriced items...Needless to say, because they would not take 3 lousy manufacture coupons, I got even..

Cally corporate in my experience is a waste of energy..although CEO different story..

I went and bought 20 Different Speed Deoderants, all mispriced.
Did not use any coupons.

Because they were all mispriced they had to follow the Michigan Scan Law and pay me $5 for each one, + the difference in overcharge.

OOP was about $49.80

oop should have been 39.80

Overcharge penalty = 5 * 20 = $100
Walked out with the 20 items + 100 + the $10 less that I should have been charged.

Of course the same manager had to do it.
So I said, with a smile of course, next time..let me use my 3 coupons.

And I left.
Please don't get all moralistic on me..I was a having a moment of disgust with Target.
