Krogers Food Lion or Costco

Ok everyone I need your opnions

I am going on vacation to Myrtle Beach July 19-26 with hubby DS (1), sister, boyfriend and sons (11 and 14).

Well plan on eating breakfast lunch and 2 or 3 dinners in the hotel.

So we will be doing some grocery shopping while there. We have already bought a lot of the stuff and plan on bringing but we will need a few things when we are down there, mainly bread, bagels, milk, juice, produce, meats, beer, wine and maybe a few frozen things.

I am torn s to where to shop. I was thinking Food Lion cause of the FLIPs ut then I was thinking Krogers cause I can get a $330 gift card for $300 (and we think we will probably spend around 300) but then part of me is thinking Costco since there is going to be so many of us. The problem I see with Costco is no coupons (but then that might be a nice break for me), and the produce we will buy in bulk which I am sure e can go thru but that means less variety (instead on 5 differnt fruits well get 2). Also not sure the size of the frige. It might be the medium size one and if we do FL or Kroger we could do another trip midweek.

Please everyone advice!!!!!

I would say Kroger because you can often find great manager's specials for the things you will be buying. You can use q's on them as well, and Kroger doubles. Their prices on beer and wine are a little better as well. Have a great time!

Thanks Bette, yeah I always see to have better luck with meat at Krogers and we will be getting an extra $30. Is the beer and wine really cheaper at Krogers then Food Lion? I never really checked. Not ue how many coupons I will be using seeing that we will mostly be buying stuff that doesn't have coupons but I do have some $2 off produce when you buy kraft dressing. Oh and maybe the free cheese and planters coupons.

I don't buy beer, but the wine seems to be a little less and here there is a much better selection at Kroger. Our FL just has a teeny tiny wine aisle.
