I was in the Target store in San Jose, California (Camden Avenue) last night and there were four employees huddled in the Patio Furniture area. All of the displays had been dismantled and all of the furniture boxes were piled sky high.

Most of the furniture had a 30% off sign and one style had a 50% off sign. I asked if they were going to be marking down. The lead said that anything that was currently tagged as 30% off is also supposed to be an additional 30% off, but was not signed yet. She said if I wanted something she would let the cashier know.

The stuff that was marked at 50% off did not have any additional off.

I would suspect that this will all get marked down quickly if it does not sell by the weekend. There were pallets of "Back to School" stuff stacked up behind the boxes of furniture waiting to be unpacked.

Of course, this is a YMMV situation since each target seems to mark down as they feel like it and depending on how much they have left. It can't hurt to ask since the deal I found was not yet signed.
