Ok, still a little new to CVS. Essence of Beauty is a CVS brand correct? In the monthy ebc ad, buy 3 EOB handsoap and receive $5 ebc. Question is does the CVS $2 skin care coupon good on this? if I buy this in 3 seperate transactions does it keep count and then when I buy the 3rd one give me my $5 EBC's? also price check, I looked online and these appear to be $3.99-$4.99 each? so If I am able to use the CVS $2 skincare printable, get 3 @ $3.99=$11.97-$6=$5.97 and get back $5 correct? Thanx.....

It depends on the store. Some cashiers look very closely to the coupon, and they will try to match word by word. Some of them will take whatever as long as the computer takes it. But you won't be able to use 3 coupons in the same transaction, the 2nd and 3rd one will beep. (same code) It's a YMMV things. Some will push the coupons through, and some won't. You can buy 3 items in three separate transactions, if your store take the coupon, than the end result will be the same.

Yes, Essence of Beauty is a CVS brand product. A couple times each year CVS will publish a small flyer that is inserted in their weekly ad. This small (1/2 sheet size flyer) will list examples of CVS brand products. I keep a copy of this smaller flyer in my coupon binder. If I question whether a product is a CVS brand I can refer to the sheet. I have had to show a SHIFT MANAGER that the product I was purchasing DID qualify as a CVS brand so that I could use a 3/10 CVS purchase.

Yes, the computer will keep track of your orders until you reach 3 and then print off your $5 ECB. Watch the bottom of your receipt for how many you have purchased, how many more you need to do, the limit you can do, and if the limit is reached.

I would purchase the 3 beauty products seperately using the coupon each time. Try it with one and see what happens.

:goodpost2: Can you post a list of those CVS brand items for us? (A brand new thread would be great as others can add to it when necessary.) I'm kinda new at this and am still figuring out which brands are CVS and which are not.

I read that BARCODE number 50428 signifies that item as a CVS brand too. But short of going thru the store and picking up each/every item, its hard to know what is/is not a CVS brand. A listing of those items would be great for the $3/10 CVS brand purchase, etc. Thanks!
