I have done the planters deal several times! hehe...give them away, I get out for about $2 (using the $3 q's) and get $6.50 back! I also combined this deal and bought formula with formula checks(13 oz concentrate), thus my very very low OOP!(checks for $5 is apprx $1.01 overage!)

If you are close to a store you can go check it out, all the qualifying foods are labeled with a sign. That's what i did today in preparation for my trip tomorrow (I get a full shopping day without 18-month old DD woo-hoo!) It's hard to recall what the items were, sorry!

I am aware of that but right now we have no cash but do have food stamps and need a few things and if a food item we can use anyway happens to be giving RR I consider that more bang for my buck ya know?

They are $2.50 this week from what I've read. Do this:

Transaction 1 & 2

4 Planters
8 other Kraft/OM/Nabisco Products (using 1 Planters as a 3rd K/OM/N item)
Use 3 $3 Planters coupons
$1 for Planters plus $?? for the other items (cheese, cookies, etc)
$5 RR x 2

Transaction 3
5 Planters
11 other Kraft/OM/Nabisco Products (using 1 Planters as a 3rd K/OM/N item)
4 $3 Planters coupons
50c for Planters plus $?? for the other items (cheese, cookies, etc)
$6.50 RR

You'll then have $16.50 to use on other items.

You could also do the diaper deal (even if you don't need) so that you could take the Planters RR, get the diapers, and then use the diapers RR to get the Planters with little oop. But, if you have FS to blow, then do it. HTH!

ok, to do the peanuts thing with the $6.50 RR your going to spend at least $15 at the very min. I ended up spending $31 but I'll also get $5 in rebate.

No, you're not spending $15. You can get 5 peanuts @ $2.50 each, use 4 $3 coupons. That's 50c. To get the other 11 items, you can get the Oreo Cakesters 3/$2... so your total OOP would be...

less than $8 and you get $6.50 in an RR.

The above scenario is $12.50 plus you can pick up some thing for $2.50 (as part of the required purchases for the coupon... there's Capri Suns for the rebate) for $15 for the rebate. BUT, if you are getting more than 1 Planters RR, you'll reach your $15. Doesn't Kraft make jello and pudding? You can get instant mixes for this and spend less. (I'm partial to the Cakesters. LOL)

The $5 RR route has about $7.50 oop for everything above. So, about $23 oop for $16.50 in RRs plus too many peanuts and snacks. LOL

If you do the Planters, then do the diapers to roll the RRs between the 2, that cuts your oop DRAMATICALLY!!! However, you won't end up with as many RRs left. Just depends on what your goal is. (I'm learning to get things I don't need for things I do. I'm loving the WGs $/$$ coupons; I use my glocuse monitor coupons and get the food for free. I might do the diapers and my youngest is 12. LOL )

Oh, thanks so much- We do have another computer, but it is currently DEAD until dh can have time to work on it.

Reading here and there I have figured out a new way to do this which will be even cheaper!!!!

Buy:
6 Planter Nuts 12ozb 6x2.5=$15
2 pudding/jello/ or other such cheapie- to get me to 3 items per coupon =$1x2=$2

TOTAL= $17+tax
- $6 Planters Coupons
-$5 RR (from diapers)
= $6 + tax OOP

Then I should get ;
$6.50 OYNO AND $5/$15 REBATE= $11.50 back, making this nearly exactly free

Then I will take my $6.50 OYNO and buy 3 more packs of diapers and since the cashier took my diaper coupon that should bring my diaper total to about $5, plus the $5 RR which I will use for some almonds (we love almonds!) and 2 more color wonder books for bday gifts!

Don't forget that you can also request they mail you the coupons... it does take 7 - 10 days, but if you love nuts the way that my family does, this is a great coupon to use even without the rr's.

I couldn't find any cakesters. There are small packages of Nabisco cookies (fig newtons, chips ahoy, and some others) 2/$3 regular price. Not as good, but they worked well in my deal.

Jello is Kraft. It is 3/$3 or $1.19? each.

total= 9.50

Well, my thought is there are at least 5 links for these coupons meaning 10 coupons minimum. And the $5 ES Rebate wyb $15 in Kraft is limit one (and the nuts were on sale through yesterday). Kool Aid is real cheap and that's what I have been stocking up on with any of these coupons. (Including the free cheese wyb 3.) To a pp, she was not saying buy KA at Wags. (She listed buying more nuts.) She mentioned Kroger for the KA.

PLUS, the catalina ROLLS at the grocery store! You can use the 1st one to cover any oop you have. Well, get the nuts, KA, and something else that you need like milk or bread.
