| Any deals for Branson or Silver Dollar City??
We are going to Branson this week and plan on taking the kids to Silver Dollar City. Does anyone know of any way to get discount tickets to Silver Dollar City? I tried looking on line and did not find any. I was hoping that maybe they had discount tickets somewhere in Branson- does anyone know of any place I can get a coupon when I get into town?

I live within 45 minutes of Branson, and I've never seen SDC tickets on sale. However, if you're planning to go for more than one day, you might consider buying season passes for your family. If you go more than once, it already saves you money. Good luck! I don't know how far it is for you to travel to Branson, but going to SDC at Christmas is really pretty.

We live about 5 hours away so we will not be able to use the season pass. I saw that they have the City Hopper deal so I may just go ahead and do that if I cannot find any discounts.

I'm doubting you'll find any discounts. My DH works just down the road from SDC, and I emailed them about getting discounts (hey, even $5 would be better than nothing!) for those that work in the area. They've never responded. The Herschends, who own SDC, White Water, and Celebration City, are not known for their generosity. My father-in-law spent 5 years working for them, and disliked most of it.

You won't find any discounts for SDC at a ticket outlet. Your best bet is to look at McDonald's, or try calling a local bank to see if they offer discount tix. I know mine does sometimes, and the one my sis worked at used to. Celebration city does offer the Meal Deal, which is a good price. It's more 'fair' like. They have expanded to include some larger rides. There are a lot of other attractions, too. There is an Imax, lots of mini-golf and go-karts, White Water, the Titanic (we haven't made it there yet, but have heard it is awesome), Ripley's Believe it or Not. There's also a pretty good Target there! HTH! |

We do tie ins like right now on the trayliners at McDonald's in Springfield there is a $5 off Celebration city coupon. Since I work there and we have the kiosk with the fliers I get in free the first 10 days of a festival or for $10 On other days except Saturdays. I also get in to the Springfield zoo free, fantastic caverns , and a discount to some of the Branson shows with my paycheck stuff. It's great for people that work there and we even have people that just work a day or two here and there to keep getting the discounts |

We do hold season passes to SDC. If you are planning on going more than 1 day a season pass will pay for itself. Also purchase at least 1 refillable mug. It is pricey ( $8.50 I think for the first drink) but all refills are either $1.25 for soft drinks or $2.50 for frozen lemonaides ect. Also you can have the stands put ice in your cup for free. Also your mug is good forever, not just this season. We have 3 that we use. ![]() You can carry in food into the park. They even say on their booklet you can bring in items. So you can bring in snacks ect. You can carry in
