Wow, to say that people that are finding these at $ .69 are STEALING them is outrageous. Let's not start accusing people and be mean spirited. I wouldn't like to be accused of stealing if I use a target Q and a manu. Q on a clearanced item and got it free or with overage. you're right..i wouldn't. i work at target, as a stocker...i walk by them EVERY morning, i CHECK every morning...and if i spot them, i will pull them off the shelves, and stock them where they belong.

Well they sure aren't going to let an employee get a pack of juice boxes for $.69, they would know something was up.

I believe she works at Target. so as a Target employee, it would be her duty to make sure they are stocked properly. If they are meant to be sold in the food court, get them over to the food court.

this can really mess up their computerized inventory. I once worked in a store that sold dog vaccines. They came 20 to a box and were barcoded individually...and we later realized that the individual barcode was also on the bottom of the box. people were walking out the door paying only 2.49 for a case of 20 vaccines. it really messed up our inventory for a long time - when the whole case was scanned at the checkout, our inventory was only adjusted to show that one vaccine had sold when twenty had walked out the door. our buyers didn't want to order us any more because we were showing tons in inventory...but actually had none. we had to turn away a lot of people who needed shots for their puppies till we could get more in.

now, in the above scenario, I'm not saying it was the customers' fault. they were taking advantage the deal. we (the employees) really should have caught that a lot sooner. I'm NOT attacking anyone who gets the .69 juice boxes because, regardless of what you believe is "right" or "wrong", people are still gonna do whatever they want. but to insinuate someone is "just jealous" because she can't find the juice boxes is not in the AFC spirit. if she has an ethical dilemma buying the juice boxes for .69 when she knows they are not really .69, then sobeit. I personally would not buy them either, but that is my call.

I have found them several times at my Target and I buy them. I understand that they are supposed to be sold at the food court, but here's the thing, my Target doesn't sell juice boxes at their food court, they have a very small food court. I am not sure why they get them.

Hum -I haven't checked this forum since I posted this originally....Never thought I would cause so much of a discussion. If you consider it stealing because it is not what Target intended then I guess you just see it differently from me. When I showed my husband what I discovered at Target he was like "wow, that is great..." This is a man that scutinizes every coupon I use to be sure that we are using it for its intended use. When he used to manage a hardware store, they honored the price it rings up at even if it was a mistake. Like it was mentioned in an earlier post, I knew that Target has been notified of this issue. I even pointed it out to the cashier and she was like " wow - what a great find". Frankly, the hunt of these juice boxes and other coupon friendly reasons is what makes me drive 20 miles to Target rather than 1 mile to Wal Mart. I think Target is really getting the benefit here since I spent over 1400 there last month (including a 42 inch TV and tons of formula that I could have easily purchased at Wal Mart) So - decide for yourselves... If you are like me and eventhough you coupon, you still pay actual money for your purchases, feel good when you find a super cheap juice box once in awhile....

I found 4 packs of apple tonight! It made my trip.
If an item is on the shelf to be purchased and someone purchases it (no matter what price it is), that is not stealing. I'm surprised to see that word being used.

maybe you can never find them in your food court, because they get bought before someone puts them in their right location.

and stacey said before - if something rang up at a much higher price you would have a fit in line stating that the price isn't that much ... you would email corp, you would call the store, ect. but if something works out for you, it's a whole different ball game.

because we purchase a huge amount of stuff at a store, gives us the right to take something from the store at a wrong price? c'mon, you have got to be kidding me.

Why get mad at the customer, consumer aka shopper, when the blame lies on Target itself? As someone here said, Target has been made aware of the problem and has not corrected it. This is clearly a pricing stocking error on their part. As a shopper, I should not be made to feel guilty for walking into the store picking something off the shelf, paying for it and leaving. Whether or not I know what the price should be. Pricing is not my job as a shopper. If it rings up .69 cents and I pay for it then the bargain now belongs to me.
If something rings up for more than what I think it should be, then I just simply put it back and refuse to buy it. That is my choice. Just like it is Targets choice to leave the bargain out there for us to have.
