I don't know how many of you are familiar with Earth Fare - it's sort of like Whole Foods but smaller and a little cheaper. We have two in the Upstate SC area with supposedly more to come.

ANYWAY - the point of this post is to let you know that they often mail out 20% off your total purchase coupons when you're on their mailing list. They also give out a packet of them, good each week for a month, Bloom-style, when they have customer appreciation days a few times a year (they advertise these days in the local paper). AND MY PUBLIX TAKES THESE!!!!

I carry a calculator with me because the 20% off the total purchase does not come up automatically and my calculating the discount saves the cashier time and confusion. The cashier also has to get a manager's approval override on the register if your amount is over $100. I've used probably six of these at different shopping trips and no one has blinked an eye.

A little time-consuming but SO WORTH IT. The last time I used the coupon with my Publix coupons and manufacturer coupons I saved $68.03. The guy behind me was so impressed

So if you have an Earth Fare in your area, check with your Publix to see if they accept their coupons.
