I meant to use the $2 Q on an appropriate item to create overage, not to use the $2 q to cover the 2.98. Sorry!

When I used the $2 skin effects, it was an accident in place of the $2 skin care q. I wouldn't purposefully try to use a q wrongly, as I'm sure others here wouldn't.

Ok I saw that pert plus is on sale for 2/5. I noticed that there were coupons for $2.00 and $3.00 from last weeks paper. I am wondering if the $3.00 coupons will work? If so then it is a money maker! Anyone know?

I have been wrapping my head around this for awhile now.
The mascara is B1G1F
They Eye Enhancers is b1g1 50% off

So buy 2 mascara for $8.49
Buy the most expensive Enhancers (mine were 6.39)

So the enhancers ring up 9.59

Give them 2 coupon for the Free Enhaners (because you are buying 2 mascaras, regardless that one of them is Free).

Both coupons will now take off 6.39 as the 50% is not deducted until the end.
So 8.49 - 6.39 = 2.10

Now I had a crt for $2 off CG so that was used as well.
But a 4/20 would work (boo I don't have any of them).

So basically the more expensive the eye stuff is the better the deal..Who would figure that would be the case?

Aren't the cashiers who know what the deal really is on the eye enhancers likely to take off 50% of the 2nd eye enhancer???...... not the full 100%???

I did this deal today but paid $5.74 for all 4. I had bought the enhancers that were $5.49 each .
So I paid $8.49 for mascara bogo + enchancer $5.49 + 2.74(1/2 off) - $5.49-5.49+ average 1.43 each. I wish I would have seen the more expensive kind and no crt for covergirl this week . Mine was about 2 wks ago and got free GC powder. Thanks for the tip. I really didn't need anymore but good deal. Anybody want to buy any for cheap?

So this is what I was working on....

2 mascara @ 8.49 = 16.98 - 8.49 = 8.49 (BOGO)
2 enhancers @ 6.39 = 12.78 - 3.20 (50% 0ff) = 9.58
total = 18.07

Q's = free enhancer 12.78

final total = 5.29 oop

I'm SOOOOO confused! Here is how it keeps working out when I do it and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but it's different than Moonflower's equation ---

Mascara#1 8.49
Mascara#2 8.49
Eye Enhancer#1 6.39
Eye Enhancer#2 3.19

TOTAL $26.56

Mascara BOGO (8.49)
Eye Enhancer#1 (6.39)
EyeEnhancer#2 (6.39)

BALANCE $5.29

That assumes that you get the full 100% on the 2nd eye enhancer and that you find one for that price --- $5.49 was the most expensive at both my stores, which would make the final total even more.

I don't understand the part where you say both enhancer coupons will come off, but your example only shows $8.49 - 6.39 (one enhancer q) for a total of $2.10....... what am I missing?!?!?
