OOOPPS!

I put a can of Pepsi Max in the freezer to bring to work, and I forgot about it!

Well you know what happened it exploded...but not only did it explode, it blew like a landmine! The top part of the can (the circle top) blew clean off from the sides of the can. The can split in two! Needless to say EVERYTHING in my freezer was covered.

I have NEVER seen a can of frozen pop do this! I don't know if it is the Max (caffeine and ginseng) or whatever is in there, gave it some extra TNT power or what, but I would hate to be anywhere near this thing.

On the other hand, if you have several 12 packs of this and absolutely hate it, but only got it because it was free from Target, then you may consider it cheap explosions for the 4th!

Been there and done that. Though my DH left a 12 pack in his truck in the winter. All 12 exploded and the pop froze. It was thankfully an easy cleanup.

I had a friend that had a can of coke roll under her seat in her car and of course she forgot about it.... well... the heat caused it to explode! Not good in a car........

Yep. This happens with all carbonated beverages. DH's coworker did this and it was not pretty...

At work people would put their pop in the freezer and forget about it, then someone else on the next shift had the "pleasure" of cleaning it up. We got to the point where we put a sign up that if ANY drinks were found in the freezer, they would be disposed of.

I accidently forgot and left a 12 pk of pepsi in my car and it was really cold out. The next moring I was leaving and I was like the darn kids threw mud on my windows. I had a van. Well it's wasn't mudd and it wasn't on the outside.
I opened the door and my car smelled like soda. A can smack dab in the middle of the box blew a hole right in the middle. soda everywhere! It was funny, just not at the time. LOL

Yes, this has happened to me too. My husband left a pepsi in the freezer all night so I had a lovely present in the morning. The can split in two and soda was everywhere I had to wipe down all the food and boxes and wiped the inside of the freezer twice and it also got on all the icecubes. It was not fun.

Glass Perrier bottles in the freezer aren't good either...

My dad spilled a gallon of milk in my sister's SUV one summer (she was doing a good deed and taking him for groceries...let no good deed go unpunished I guess). Anyway, it smelled HORRIBLE. We carried candles around in the car and if we were stopped in a parking lot or something waiting on someone to run in, we'd light the candles..super safe, I know
