| "Ma'am, did you buy that?"
So I'm wondering if I got the worst cashier ever at Target today. I got 4 items: 1 pack of Pampers, 1 Colgate, 1 Reach toothbrush, 1 Horizon Organic Milk. All of which I had coupons for. There was no one in line so I thought this would be super fast. No ..... of course not. After ringing up my 4, the cashier entered my coupons. Mind you, I only had manu. coupons ...not even Target as to not confuse the poor girl. Before she even scan each coupon, she asked me, "Ma'am, did you buy that?"! What?!! I had to refrain myself from saying, "No, I was just using coupons for the heck of it." I mean, she just bagged those items!!! So needless to say, she rummaged through the bag to pull each item out again to doublecheck.  Seriously?! 4 items. I couldn't imagine anyone buying 10 items using coupons. Her memory must be really short fused today.

She probably was paying no attention whatsoever to what she was scanning, but still pretty lame for four things!!

WOW. That would seriously irritate me. I think I would try to come up with a nice way to say "But I only have 4 items."

Did she actually ask you before she even scanned it? That is weird. I've had them ask after a beep, but not before. I try to put the qs down before they start scanning items thinking that if they are going to be fussy they can look at the qs first and check the items as they scan. Fortunately, I have not met with such a coupon nazi.

I did bite down my tongue real hard since she looked clueless. She wasn't new. I've had her her in the past, but most of the times I avoided her because her line was always sooo long... Now I know why...she must pull a blank one on every customer. HAHAHA
