Example..This week the Almay Mascara was clearenced for $3.49 so I did not get the ECB.
I called Customer Service and they issued them.

Can I go to CVS and buy the right ones and get another ECB?

Or will it be set in their system that I had already purchased the item?

Technically I didn't purchase the qualifying item (as per their system). So am I entitled to another 2 of them as that is the limit?

Please don't judge, I am just asking a question here.

Ok..Entitled is the wrong word. Am I allowed to purchase another set of 2?

What does your receipt say now? Go buy a pencil or something scanning your card if you don't have a current receipt. That will give you an answer.

If you buy one in a single transcation, you will find out by the bottom of your receipt. Don't know if CS edited your account to show you got the deal. I think they would have to in order to generate the ECB for that item.

That happened to me with the Huggies deal. CS issued the ECBs, but on the ECBs, it just said something to the effect of "Here is your ECB." It didn't specify that it was for buying Huggies nor did the receipt show that any had gone toward the deal. So...I got more Huggies. HTH.

You know what, I had somewhat of the same thing happen to me. I purchased two of the Huggies bath wipes and they didn't generate the $2 ecb's for each. They rang up at $1.74 each, clearenced out I guess. Should I call corp., will they load those 2 $2 ecb's to my card? Thanks in advance!

I have had this same thing happen as well. I had an ecb that didn't print and I called corp, who said no prob, they would make it so the ecb printed next time. Next time I did receive an ecb for the right amount, but it did not specify the deal. I forget exactly what it was, but it was something we use alot, so a few days later I went back and when I bought the same item the ecbs printed. I believe the ecbs that they issue are just courtesy ecbs and do not attach themselves to a particular item. At least that is my experience with them. I agree that you should just buy a candy bar or something and see what the receipt says.

I do know that you have to wait 48 hrs before CS can see it in the computer system, then it takes 48 hrs to get credit to your card....but I would go buy something little and it will give you the status on all your deals...HTH
