I'm trying to get my sister a good deal on diapers- is this week's Target offer a good one? Here's the deal and all the coupons I'd like to use:

27.99 x2 purchase price plus
~4.99 x2 wipes

Advertised $10 GC w/purchase of 2
2x Q Target IP $5 off diapers + wipes
2x Q Target IP $3 off diapers + wipes
2x Q Target IP $5 GC on diapers + wipes
1x manu $2

Total savings with GC's: $38
Total Cost: $66
Net: $28 for ~200 diapers and 360 wipes = .14c per diaper not including wipes and depending on diaper size.

First- is this a good deal?
Second- is it even possible to use that many coupons?
Third- what does the sale paper mean by "while supplies last" next to the gift card bit, are they saying they might run out of gift card offers, or diapers?

also, you can only use one target and one manf. per item. you plan on buying two boxes of diapers and bags of wipes. the coupon says that you have to buy both of them, so you would only be able to use two of the coupons (whether that be the 5 off or 3 off.) if you have the pampers $2/2 you can throw that in also (you could use two of those).

are you sure your wipes are 4.99 for at least a 180ct? they are 5.99 most places .. so double check.

it would look something like this ..

2 boxes @ 27.99
2 wipes @ 4.99
= 65.96
- 5 off
- 5 off
- $2/2
- $2/2
= 51.96

then you would get your giftcard, but you wouldn't be able to use it on that purchase.

i stick to the jumbo packs + 180 ct wipes .. it looks like this

9.99
5.99
= 15.98
- 5 off
- $2/2
= 8.98

you can do that 5 times and pay 44.90 .. getting the same amount of diapers (well, at size 3), and MORE wipes.

i have no idea about your third question. i'm pretty sure it is directed towards the diapers.

you may use one of the Target IP's, not all three. Per Target coupon policy, you may use one T and one mfr coupon for each item purchased. Using all of the above would be three coupons per item and a violation of their policy (therefore not something we want to discuss here on AFC!)

you could do:
2 big boxes 27.99 x 2 = 55.98
2 wipes 4.99 (wow yours are cheap!) x 2 = 9.98
total: 65.94

less:
2 - 2/2 pampers mfr
2 - 5/2 pampers target (wipes and diapers)

new total: 51.98
figure in the GC and you're at 41.98 for two big boxes (200 size 4 dipes) and six packs wipes. just over 20 cents per diaper not counting the wipes.

the while supplies last applies to the GC offer. I have never heard of them running out of GC's.

I had wondered about this deal as well. I don't usually get a lot of the pampers coupons to keep doing the jumbo pack over and over.
I may just wait until next month since the Tq last until then. Order some of the q's and wait for the jumbo's to go on sale.

there is a p&g insert coming out in july, which i can only assume will have some in them.

also you can see if anybody is willing to get rid of theirs on here. - i was going to buy some q's from ebay, and someone made a good point that first look on here. put a post in the ISO forum, and i'm sure someone will reply to you...or look around the FSOT forum to see if someone wants to sell or trade them.

Thanks for answering that question, I am the sister that Kydurron was talking about and I recently joined and am always looking for a better deal. I usually get my diapers and wipes at Sam's club and I told my brother that unless I can get the diapers under 23c. a diaper then it wasn't worth the effort for me to use coupons, although I suppose i am not getting wipes with my purchase there (I just thought of that aspect). Anyway, I am very new at this but really want to find ways to trim my budget so thanks for that advice to my brother, I am going to use it.

I don't think this is a good deal, when you can get them dirt cheap sometimes, I would stock up then...

I don't think that Sams is a good deal either though....


the while supplies last is the diapers themselves...NO RAINCHECKS...at least that is what i think anyway...Do you all have a cvs? they run some AWESOME deals!!!!!!!

Sound advice, but what about some examples? Are you talking about uber coupons, in-store sales, ECB's, etc.? Give me an example of what combination of savings yields dirt cheap diapers so I know to look for it. Thanks.

well two weeks ago went in with my hubby and friend used all 3 of our cards with this sinerio...

2 transactions of this..

2 packs of size 3 pampers @ 7.99 each

used a 5 off 15 CVS Q
2 2/1 man. Qs
=6.98 used some ECBs and when you bought $20 worth of pampers you got 5 ecbs so if you used 5 ecbs in one trans it ended up being like 2.00 each for 4 packs of jumbo diapers...

I think that is dirt cheap for pampers anyway--- they are doing mega packs next week @ 13.99 and you can do it kinda like the one up there...and they give you 3 ecbs back...w/the 5/15 it exp on june 1st my store lets me use it though...and then you use your 2/1 Q and 3 ecbs


it would be 3.99 oop I don't think that is bad either for a mega pack...

I did the CVS deal then too..and if you count the coupons and the $5/15 and the ECBs that I got back....I only paid $.07 per diaper....now to me...that's a good deal.

Sorry I am pretty new to this. Can you please re-explain how the deal at cvs works? WHat does ecb mean? thanx!
