| going out of business?
The Disney Stores in our area are closing and one of the ladies there said that TCP and Disney Store used to be owned by the same people, but not anymore. She told me that TCP had filed Chapter 11 and will be closing all stores. I asked the clerk and of course she said this is not true. Has anyone else heard this?

I know at least one by me, in pittsburgh pa, is going out of business, shame too because sometimes I got some really good deals there!

It actually sounds like the children's place gave thier disney stores back to Walt Disney Company. The companies did file for Chapter 11. However, TCP plans to reorganize and concentrate thier efforts on thier own stores and are getting out of all disney stores. It does not appear from the news report that TCP will be closing all thier stores. Some of them may close but they are trying to keep most open according to alot of sources. LINK from ABC NEWS |

I love this store too; but I only shop it online. I find better deals and shipping is only $5

Our TCP outlet has such great deals, I would cry if they went out of business!!

We have an outlet at the most popular malls in our state, I think it is now considered a tourist attraction and they just expanded and moved thier store to a different location. I would think they would be ok since they just expanded there.

Wednesday....I bet this is the Concord Mills store. I would be at a loss for words if that store closed! I cannot believe the kind of bargains you get there when they have their clearance sales!

They have some cute clothes...i got 2 shirts from there at a garage sale for 75 cents for both and i was sooooooo happy!

I can almost walk to our outlet, I have three little ones and get 95% off their clothes there! I would really be upset if they did close!

i know... i would cry too. i have two little ones and find awesome deals. FYI: a clerk at the store told me to try this and it worked for me. i had a $10 off any purchase coupon that i received from them after having my baby and misplaced it, then found it only to be expired. i was told to call corp and ask for a replacement. i called and all they asked was that i send the original coupon back to them and they would send me a new one... they did! i don't know if it works on their % off coupons, but it's worth a shot... esp if you are a loyal customer.

You are north of me-- I go to the Jackson ones.  But wouldn't that be funny, the two of us AFCers out with our twins at the same outlets?!?!
