As I was checking out today I saw a memo next to the cashier that said to make sure they input info. on any customer that brings a reuseable bag. It said that 10 points will be added to your rewards card at each visit you do this. Gets you one step closer to those 500 points needed for $5!

Yep. Every time you shop, you earn rewards points. I believe they are $1/1 point. Once you get 500 points, they mail you a $5 check. The best part is that they count your totals BEFORE q's! So much easier to get up there!

Current cycle is April 1-June 30. Earn $5 for every 500 points. Points less than 500 roll over to next cycle.

This is in addition to the Kroger Fuel rewards. I am still trying to find out if it is regional. The points for bags started today at my store, so it may not be everywhere yet.

Bummer b/c we can't even use fuel rewards b/c DH's emp. discount is greater. I will cry right there w/ you Katie.

I know that when we got it (a little over a year ago) you had to transfer your card. They didn't automatically give it to you. Also points transfer each cycle but not into the new year. So on dec 31st if you have 499 points you will not get your $5 and those points will be gone. So check you receipt at the end of dec and make sure you spend the 500 (if you are close).

It says you earn points for special promotions and also 1 point for each dollar spent it does not say certain areas. So everyone should be able to get this. Make sure your Krogers card says Krogers Plus Rewards on it (mine is green) if not go to CS and say you want a rewards card. That is waht I did.

Check your stores guys! The bag credit just started at my store yesterday! As far as the other rewards, just ask if your store offers a new rewards card. Then start accumulating those points!

I just called my store where I daycare for a CSM.

I was told this is only valid in "my area" if you are using KROGER 1-2-3 MasterCard and you use that card to purchase your groceries.

I feel gyped.

Well that is no fair. I would print out FAQ from there website and complain. IT says earn one point for each dollar spent. I would demand my points LOL.

I may be a little lost here but it seems like everyone is getting the 1-2-3 rewards credit card and the Kroger plus card confused. In my area, that I know of, the KPC earns 10 cents of per gallon of gas per $100 you spend in store per month. Because I have a 1-2-3 rewards credit card I also earn points for every dollar I spend. Every 3 months Kroger will send me a $5 coupon good on anything in the store for each 1000 points earned. I do earn a bag credit when I reuse bags (.05 cents per bag) as long as the cashier knows to do it or I pay close attention to register screen. I have not heard of a bag credit where you can earn 10 points for each visit you bring your own bags, but will definitely be inquiring.

I do not have a 123 Rewards credit card. I only have a Kroger Plus card and I get the points added each visit. My receipt always says the total like I listed above. My best guess is that this is regional, and not all areas have it yet. Hope you all get both of these programs soon!

I am here in Memphis, TN and the Kroger's here do NOT offer either one of these deals. We only receive a point for each dollar spent toward a 10 cent savings per gallon of gas when $100 is spent.
