I thought it might be interesting to get reviews and opinions on the products we get at CVS. What are the items you never tried before, but got free and now love.....or hate.

I love.....
Dove Cream Oil Body Wash- I love the smell and the way it cleans and moisturizes.

Lypsyl- Great lip balm

Hershey's Bliss- with the meltaway center.....YUM!

Divine Cookies- Pretty similar to Pepperidge Farm Brand

Soft Soap Pomegranate Mango- Love the smell!

Not Loving....
Soft Soap Spa- and I have a ton of it and I don't really like it.
Skin Effects- Cleansing Effects Cleanser- smells like plastic- Yuk.

I have so many varieties that I don't have time to love just one thing! LOL

I do love having a fresh razor blade...I could never afford them, but now, when it's ready to switch, I can!

I love shaving cream. I could never afford that either, I mean soap works just fine, but now, I have it!

Oh, I do love the Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste. I was always a Crest gal! LOL

I can't use body washes, because of allergic reactions...but my DH and my DS1 loves their body washes, any kind. DH's fav is the Pomegranate Soft Soap!

Agreed on the Lypsyl.....great stuff! Also liked the Oral B toothbrushes with the plastic fingers that move when you turn it on. Never would have paid $5-6 for one but for FAC they were great.

I LOVE the Colgate 360 toothbrushes. I also love having shaving cream and nice razors. I am using the Bic Soleil right now and like it. DH likes the Schick Razor with the Trimmer (which we now have a LOT of so I'm glad he likes them!).

-Aquafresh Xtreme Clean. I love way the TP foams and the clean feeling when I'm done brushing
-Suave Coconut Scented Bodywash remind me of my trip to the Domican Republic
-Maybeline Mineral Power, finally found a color to match my dark completion
-Smart Rinse, perfect size to fit in my desk drawer at work along with my other little snacks!
-Biore still fight acne since I was teen.

Thanks to earning ECB's and Mfr. Q's I was able to try these products for Free or pennies on the dollar

Love the Softsoft Spa (blue bottle)

Dislike the Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste-has a strange taste.

Love my assortment of razors EXCEPT the Bic Soleil Disposables-they cut me up so bad. I need to call the company and complain because it's just ridiculous.

I really like the Dove Cream Oil Lotion. I never did get any of the bodywash, so I'm not sure about it. My kids really like the Smart Rinse. I just got back from vacation, so I haven't gotten it this month yet, but plan to get my freebies for the kids. I also love my great razors! Never would have paid $10 for the Venus, but for free/cheap, I love them! Of course, DH liked the Gillette Fusion from a sample we got once upon a time, so it was great to get him plenty of those for free/cheap, too!

I could go on and on. My kids love the Listerine Smart Rinse and I'm always buying skin care stuff for them too. (CVS Brand and Neutrogena) They love it. So much better than the cheap stuff I got as little of possible of at Target.

I second the Lypsyl- Great lip balm!! I would never have paid $2.99 for a chapstick/lip balm but when it was FREE... I stocked up and man do I love this stuff!!

I don't really care for the new SpaSoft Body wash (the exfoliate one).

Love the Lumene makeup remover cloths. So sad my cvs hasnt gotten any more in stock. Our Target doesnt have it either.
Really like the 360 toothbrush, both power and manual.
My dd loves her Zooth toothbrushes. WIll have to get her another Gumm Crayola toothbrush. She loves to stick them to the wall with the suction cup on the bottom.
Love the Matrix heat protective spray, hate the hair spray.

I absolutly love my Venus Breeze razor, such a close shave that actually leaves my hairy legs so smooth, I had my husband feel them!!
Second (or third) on the Hershey Bliss.
I also love my herbal essence I got when it was BOGO.
The Duracell pix batteries also seem to last a long time.
The lypsl is nice.
Have yet to try the intuition razor (pretty sure that was an awesome buy).
My husband & his friend both like their gillette fusion razor.
I love all my free stuff, I just love passing some of it on to others too!

if you have a conditioner you do not like on your hair, you can use them instead of shaving cream. I actually like the result I get from conditioner than shaving gel.

Since late February I've been CVSing- I must say that the best thing about it is the fact that I'm no longer using dollar-store generic products for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc.

I love love love the Dove Cream oil body wash- picked up the monster sized bottles a couple of months ago. Ironically, I stocked up BIG on these, because I was so used to going through a ton of the really cheap stuff that doesn't foam up nicely- but we use less than 1/4 of the Dove since it isn't watered down!!!! Doesn't mean I won't be picking up more this week, of course!

Other favorites-
Purex Laundry detergent (were BOGO, plus $1 off q's, $2 before 5/15 q that I had! Ended up working them in with a bunch of moneymakers to make them totally free) Small bottle takes up less space and allows me to store two on the shelf, and 12 fit in the cabinet where only 5-6 of the other stuff would fit before!

Glade flameless candle- I have 6 of them, only 2 actually have the smelly stuff in them- empty ones go in kids rooms for nightlights

Playskool baby wipes- I love how they fit nicely in the diaper bag as compared to a "normal" full size pack!

The ability to buy "real" makeup- Money has been tight since I stopped working just before the birth of our DD in Dec. 06, so I've been using the clearanced makeup from Christmas... No more!
