Guys,

Please help.
I purchased exactly $20.24 in Pampers items:

3 pack of diapers @5.75
1 tub of wipes @ 2.99

My total before taxes and coupons was 20.24 and my extra buck ($5) did not print. My receipt said I needed an additional $2.99. Obviously I could read this but this was a mistake (I think).

I brought it up to the cashier and manager. The cashier tried to help and then the manager said I need an additional $2.99....b/c the items purchased were on sale!


Huh?! What gives. Any advice on what I should do?

Are you sure each item you purchased was a qualifying item? I didn't do this deal, but sometimes it has to be specific diapers/wipes... hmmm... hope someone else can help... if you are 100% sure you purchased qualifying items and it says your amount towards the deal is 20.24, then call corporate

the wipes may not be included in your area...the are not in mine so i would take them back and try buying another pack of diapers instead

you may have bought the wrong diapers - the ones in the deal should have been 7.99 (according to my ad)

It sounds like the ones you bought may have been marked down.

Also, look on the bottom of your receipt - it should have the amount you have spent toward the deal or the amount you need to spend to get the ECBS.

ya, i did this deal but the diapers i bought were the bags that were 7.99 also and i bought three of them and i got the 5.00 off ecb

Ok, here's what I'm thinking

You got the clearanced diapers, I read in another post that they weren't counting toward the ecb deal. So, actually the only thing that counted toward the $20 was the wipes, which cost $2.99.

I personally wouldn't return anything or buy anything else. I would call the 800# on Monday and explain that you bought 3 packs of diapers and 1 pack of wipes, your total was well over $20 but your ecb's did not print. Nowhere in their ad does it say clearanced items are not included in this deal. And in a few of the stores I frequent, the size 1 & 2 pampers I know are on clearance are not even marked as being clearanced.

Thanks for the advice! I'll have to re read my ad but it's strange that I am short but exactly 2.99 , Hopefully, corporate can help.

In our area the clearanced Pampers (baby dry size 2 I believe) do *not* count toward the deal b/c the ad specifically stated to buy packs at $7.99.

You may be able to call the number and have the ecbs issued anyway, though. It can't hurt to ask.
