you know when your addicted to cvs when you plan your vacation around your ecb expiring and the sales they are having.
. last week we planned our disney trip vacation around cvs.. yeah my husband wanted to go last sunday but i said oh no ..not with the sales coming up.. my ecb expiring , my coupons expiring, i don't think so buddy. I've just had some time to think about it and the more i think the more i laugh, well i got all the sales and grew some ecb on top of that. just need a few things for our trip and we'll be set.
Now lets just hope it don't rain or I will be hearin about it.
I always tell him the more money I save you the less you have to work. But after seeing this a few months he finally gets it, he hasn't had to buy any nessecities (diapers, tp, and all those other goodies), he doesn't complain anymore when i say i'm goin shoppoing, just lettin you know ahead of time he actually says no problem ok. he used to always complain, what do you need to get know? but finally gets it YEAH!!!!
I couldn't beleive he rearanged his schedule and everything without a single complaint, I'm in shock still.

So i just wanted to say THANKYOU afc for getiing me so hooked and saving me lots of money, and my family. I've passed this on to other family members, and taught them the ways, and they are so thankfull. A special thank you to the shopper from the cvs parking lot that handed me some coupons when they had the diaper deal a few months ago, you totally got me hooked and i will never forget and i will keep passing on the savings.

I know I'm addicted when I beg my mom to watch the kids once a week so I can do my run to the 5 stores within a 3 mile radius..Instead of going for a manicure

I was totally pissed when someone posted the cvs ad for july because that is our weeks vacation and I thought those sales are too good to much (I thought about asking if we could change weeks). Then I wasa told that there are plenty of CVSs at myrtle beach so I will be cvsing on vacation.

I Know I am an addict/go to CVS to much when:
~ the clerks all know your name, you know all of their names
~ you are sick and don't go to CVS and they notice and miss you
~ you help customers find products because you know where EVERYTHING is
~ you see the same other customers at the beginning of each week/month
~ you help the new clerks figure out a problem because CVS is your home away from home

Oh, I just thought of another one. The older lady that is a cashier at the "good" CVS calls my DD her baby and just gushes over. She even notices when she has a growth spurt. This is a totally not creepy way, it's really sweet, .

I am planning on having knee surgery in August. -------- I already checked and the 1st is on a Friday so I am thinking around the 4th or 5th, and plan on taking a couple days off before it, in case i need to hit several stores

LOL - I have foot surgery in 2 weeks and I rolled over all my ECBS with the June deals so none of them would expire while I'm hobbling around.

However, I'm still looking at the deals for the week of the surgeyr and wondering if I couldn't just sneak into CVS the day before the surgery to get a few of them!!

When it snowed... I was a CVS, when it rains.... I am at CVS. There was a lady getting a Extra Care Card & the night shift manager points at me & says "She can teach you all about that thing!" Also when I go without my son, they always want to know where he is!

I know I am addicted because I mapquested the closest CVS to where I am going on vacation. (Yea, there are 2 on the Outer Banks!!!!) And I started to gather lots of coupons so I can get my sisters hooked too!!

When you start planning for next weeks deals on the same day you finish up the present deals; gathering coupons and estimating how much you will NOT spend!
When you keep the following week's ad in a window on your computer eveytime you sign on so you can memorize the ad.
When you keep changing the order of your deals to the lowest OOP.
When you know your going out of town and you keep you ECB's and Q's in the car just in case there is an CVS somewhere off the beaten path!

I've only been CVSing for a little over a month now and I'm amazed at how much I've amassed in such a short period of time. I'm also amazed at how EVERYONE is so incredibly helpful on AFC to point out Q locations(websites), next weeks ad, the following weeks ad, the following month's ad, steals/deals, new "limits" that have been changed, and all the other little perks that really make CVSing a lot of fun!

Last weekend, for the first time, I bought 5 newspapers! I never would have thought that I'd do that...(ever!!!!) but I am so glad I did. I tripled my ECBs just by not paying OOP. It's amazing. Yes I had to pay upfront for the newspaper, but I got more than that back in savings! I thank all of you for the posts that have helped me, personally, increase my ECBs, fill my Christmas swap "baskets" with freebies (my "man" basket is FULL FULL FULL! I'm starting a new one, and a women's one!), and help my firends/family/neighbors get in on the action.

Oh, and here's another addiction quote:

You know you are addicted when you send yourself emails to you laptop (of all the pertinent websites: taylortown, I heart CVS, smartsource, etc.) because you will be away on vacation and will need to access those sites.

You know you are addicted when you pack your small portable printer to take on vacation, so you don't miss any Qs!

You know you are addicted when you open up new bags of items just to check to see if there is a coupon inside. (By this I meant items at home that you haven't opened yet from your stockpile)

You know you're addicted when half of the items you use in your home are missing their UPC's because you sent out rebates for them.
