I know when my grandparents and parents had chickens they would buy egg cartons so they could sell their eggs to the store and to local people but most of the time they would get those back but not the ones they sold to the stores. Also, teachers are always looking for them for craft projects. But the first one is why they would sell. Hope that helps.

Old magazines and catalogs are another thing that sales on ebay if you have certian types or a whole years worth ....specially kids magazines like the manga types, food magazines, old catalogs like tiffanys/barbie/etc. Just have to look up what you have and see what goes. Recently we cleaned out a garage and sold some old video game mags, old cosmos, magazine clippings are big tooo if you can collect a certain amount of a certain celebrity. If you work in an office that throws away scraps of colored papers you can resell them in homemade kits to scrapbookers. Sell old jars of different sizes in groups to candle makers or as a candle making jar set. Over the years i have found many creative ways to sell my trash on ebay when I get the time to do so. Hope these ideas help!!! ![]() Last edited by jigarkhwarsaves; 08-16-2008 at 08:48 PM. Reason: added more |

I never knew about those Capri Sun juice pouches... I have a ton of baby food jars just sitting in my garage. I've been selling on eBay for awhile and never thought to sell stuff like that.

If someone will buy a cornflake that resembles Mother Theresa, then ANYthing will sell! The egg cartons, if they are the paper ones, I know I have used them to plant "seedlings", but I wouldn't buy them since I always have plent of my own. I once saw (and I kid you not) an auction for a "chewed IKEA pencil" ....it was up to about $5 when I saw it, but don't know what it ever sold for because I didn't keep up with it.

I bought some used ink cart. to recycle at office max. I don't know where the person I bought from gets so many. Got 112 for $65 included shipping. Making $3 each to use to the purchase of a camara or computer. Lots of other stuff you could buy at office max. It's a mm. Sometimes I see a printer in the trash, I always check for the ink. Alot of people around here, trash dig for the alumium cans that are recycle. I have hit the recycle bins for papers for extra coupons in the states.(I live in a no coupon zone). |

I have sold empty cartridges on ebay before I could turn them into staples. It was nice to know someone could refill it. Many people do that.

I think the capri sun purses are so cute and some people will buy the juice and just cut them open and pour out the juice and then use the pouches. Could you imagine pouring the juice down the drain?? Those purses sell around here for around $25-30 so it is a good MM. I sell on ebay all the time too. I love it. Used clothes go pretty good if they are a good name brand like aeropostale, which my son loves and has grown a size now. NWT clothes sell really good and so do jeans. Books from thrift stores IF you can find the right ones. It takes time but you can get cash for your "trash". |

Our school collects the juice pouches from the kids' lunches and uses the funds raised for the PTA. that seems like the best idea, it's not worth the time to clean and resell. perhaps a good idea for other schools out there if yours isn't doing it already |
