My store finally restocked their reusable bags this weekend and I picked up my 6 that I have been waiting for since April, used them and they gave me back 5 cents per bag at the end of my transaction! It didn't click until I went back to the store for more little things this morning and used two more bags and saw the 10 cents deducted at the bottom of my receipt!

I must have missed this piece of info here at AFC, so I thought it worth mentioning again! These bags are going to pay for themselves over and over again!!! It may be YMMV, but worth checking out if you haven't already!

My Albertsons gives me .05 back per bag EVERY time I use them! But then Vons & Stater Bros don't give me anything....

My store doesn't even seem to care to use them.....I try to remember to use them myself...I had them at the end of my checkout and the lady was still putting them in plastic I had to tell her again to use the reusable.

from the looks of my two receipts.... 5 cents comes off per bag every time I use them!!!

Funny thing is when I remember to take my reusable bags in, I hand them to the cashier before she starts ringing my order and they always ask me, "Do you want me to put your groceries in these?" Ummm. . . . duhhh. . . that is why I gave them to you, is what I am thinking. But I just say, 'Yes, please."

!!! can you just take old plastic bags? i do have one from walmart---but do they haveb to be kroger?

I don't know if you will get credit for a store bag other than Kroger but, I'm sure you can use the walmart one. My albertson's gives a .10 credit per bag if you reuse their plastic bags.

I take my Food Lion, WalMartm Kroger & the Scott brand reusable bags in to all the stores and get credit at the ones who do it..........I have to find out tomorrow if my Krogers are doing this, but I know for sure Farm Fresh here does, but I have to remind the cashier every time to take the money off.

Our Albertsons has it printed on the paper bag. You receive .05 back each time you use the bag.
Question: Has anyone seen them in Publix yet?

The publix reuables? yes they're green not sure if they give you money back when you use them or not

I always have to remind my cashier for the credit- in the form of a question, of course. (so I make them seem in control) "Um, do I get a credit for the reusable bags here?" They always like to tell me that I do- without feeling like I told them I did-

I don't have a single bag actually from a grocery store. Mne are from things like RV shows and trade shows. I use them at every store I go to. Kroger, Albertson's, Tom Thumb. They ahave all been giving me credit. And I was going to throw these out recently until I read that the stores give credit.

Both Krogers in my town give you .04 per reusable bag.

I wish my Kroger did. I will ask at CS next time I am in. I haven't noticed it on my past receipts though.
