I know some others here do this too, but when I need fillers or I have one of my favorite cashiers, I like to buy the monthly promotional items, you know, the things that they always ask you 'would you like to buy our _____'. They get a little extra on their paychecks for it and they are usually not that expensive, so I like to help them out. I though maybe we could have an ongoing thread saying what the promo is each month to help out our cashiers. I know there is a main one for the whole store and then the cosmetics girls have another.

This month it is the Oreo or Nilla Cakesters. 3 pack. $0.79 each or 3/$2.

The beauty promotions are:
Yes to Carrots. Buy one get one 1/2 off. *Wags coupons out there $1/1*
Aveeno Sun Care $9.99 to $10.99
Neutrogena Sun Care $8.99 to $9.99
Sammy's Icing or Fast Design Style Mist (blue can) $14.99 each.

How did you get 6 for .29

I was able to get 6 packages for 29 cents by using 5 of the 75 cent coupons good on any new Nabisco item. They were on a tear pad at Publix a few weeks ago.

i never knew they had special promotions for cashiers.. I'd love to know what they are. i almost always check out in cosmetics since i know they get comission or something.

The cosmetic suggestive sell this month is Yes To Carrots buy one get one 50% off and they should still have the $1.00 off wag coupon. Aveno Sun Care $9.99 to 10.99, Neutrogena Sun Care $8.99 to 9.99 and Sammy Icing (and another spray can't remember which one) $14.99

it is a nice thing to do for your fav cashiers...or any cashier.
no, the gals in cosmetics don't get a comission, but their register sales are tracked so in particular if you buy a lot of cos items they get special credit on their KPI's if you ring at the cos register only...it's complicated, but it makes them and the store look good.

and if you buy the "item of the month" they usually get a PM (promotional money) directly onto their paycheck. usually $1 per item or more, which is great if your beauty advisor is good at sales

at the front reg it's usually not that high of a PM, but they usually have cheaper items and can sell more with more customer volume.

and only a beauty advisor gets credit for the cos items and only if they are rang at the cos register, similarily with the photo counter and the photo assistants

no, the gals in cosmetics don't get a comission

we get Pm's in cos also, all those things that I mentioned and appleramma mentioned we get money for also...you should always check out in cosmetics if you have cosmetic items, we get Pm's for many things over there.

This month the cashier promotion is the Dove 3 pack Chocolate bars, 2/$3. There is also an IVC for $1/2 of these bars in the August ESC, so the final cost will be $1 each.

Can someone post the Monthly Promo for the Beauty Advisors?
