I've heard that Red Lobster & Olive Garden are part of the same "family" and that if you have a GC from one, you can use it at the other and vice versa, is this true?

Does anyone know if this also applies to their coupons? Anyone tried this out?

I am pretty sure this is true. Where I live it is true, but I would call your individual resturant to make sure. I didn't work at either one of those but someone came into the place I work and we aren't part of that resturant family but the guest thought we were, he asked if he could use the gift card at ours and the manage said yes, just to earn the business. (He probably took his family to Red Lobster the next day and just comped $20 worth of the meal!) It never hurts to ask, especially right now with people spending less money and the competition being that much more difficult.

I believe you are right. When I bought my gc from the Olay deal in the spring it was for Olive Garden/Red Lobster.

THIS IS TRUE! both are apart of the DARDEN family, i worked at the OG for 2 years up to the point where i was way to sick to serve or work in the back anymore...my baby hated me from day one...until the last day she was in the womb! and now we love each other...

but to answer your question yes you can use it at OG RL smokey bones or bahama breeze.

OK, so you are all saying that you can use the GCs interchangeably at RL & OG. But what about the Qs that come out in the Sunday inserts?? Would I be able to use a RL Q if I was dining at OG, would they accept them??

you can use the GC where ever...if you go to RL on tuesday...you can use your GC again on friday at the OG. but the Qs are only for the stated restaurant.

yeah...it is pretty nice, and you can get cards with all 4 restaurants on them as well...i think online.
