I'm trying to work my pampers deal for sunday 6/1 because CVS will have the pampers jumbo packs $7.99, I have a $3/1 jumbo from Wags and would like to know if CVS will honor it toward this deal.

2 jumbo packs $15.99
2 wipes 5.98
use $5 ecb
use $3/$15
use $3/1 catalina from Wags
use $2/2 from 6/1 insert

the catalinas are a real YMMV thing in my experience. I always get them at my local grocery store where stuff like Pampers is marked up so ridiculously high that, after the $3 q I would pay more than the regular price anywhere else. Anyway, I was using them at Target (asked at the service desk, they said it was OK because it was a mfr q and that if it scanned, they would take it). that went on for a couple of months. THEN one day I'm at Target and all of the sudden policy changed. said I couldn't use it, their cash office throws these q's away because they won't get reimbursed blah blah blah. I pointed it out 'it says RIGHT on it - send to P&G for your $3 plus .08 handling' and they still weren't having it.

long story short, I don't try to use them anywhere but where they've been printed. it can become such a hassle and the less I can do to draw attention to myself, the better. it is the store's right to deny any coupon I guess. I've never tried at CVS - I already save so much I almost (keyword almost) feel like I'm stealing sometimes. that's just me though.

I would not consider it stealing, you are still paying out money for these items but just in a different way than the regular Jane Doe. The way I see it there aren't a lot of things we can control in life but when I find a way to save money, however it may be, I take advantage of it. Isn't that the way the rich man does? I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that wish they could control prices on their groceries like we are doing, I try to tell people when I'm approached about my coupon binder that this is how I save money and some of them take it to heart and say they will be using coupons from now on. It's bad they had to wait until a recession to understand how good couponing is.

I used a Pampers coupon from Wags once at CVS. I was denied at first because it does say redeemable at Wags, but I said it said Manuf Coupn...so she huffed and scanned it like "I'll show you." It took it. I don't know what happened when they submitted it, but it worked. It may be a YMMV thing.
