just wondering how everyone is planning the deal for next week!

ooohhh I just spent an hour and a half on my 6/1 deals. I'm trying to earn as many ECB's as I can and "blowing" them on diapers. if all goes as planned, I should have 55.33 ECB after I do my non-pampers transactions on 6/1.

I will then buy 3 jumbo packs at 7.99 ea, total 23.97. less 5/15 = 18.97. less mfr q's (3 x 1.50) and I'm at 14.47. not bad for three jumbos, plus I earn 5 ECB.

I now have 60.33 ECB. I will have 6 - 1.50 mfr q's and as many 2/2 as I buy on Sunday (this is in the p&g insert). I am thinking of doing them in groups of two to use the 5/15. so 2 x 7.99 = 15.98 - 5 = 10.98 - 1.50 - 1.50 = 7.98 for another two. no more ECB's unfortunately since the limit is one and I only have one card.

repeat transaction above twice for another 7.98 x 2. I have now spent 23.94 (in ECB's, of course) on six packs of diapers. at this point I'll be out of 1.50 q's so I'll have to use 2/2 q's from sundays paper.

so another 2 packs = 15.98 -5 -2 =8.98. do this four times for a total of 35.92 on eight packs.

that's a total of 17 jumbo packs of diapers! paid for (mostly) with ECBs.

sorry if this didn't make sense. I'm kind of thinking as I type.

that is how i think i am going to do them...in groups of 2 and then use my ECBs to buy another one...


but i am going to take a few friends...mil, fil, and hubby so i can get lots and lots!!!!!

and then the 5 ecb that they get i am going to grab another one and use them on it.

and thanks be to this wonderful web site i traded for $2 off manu. Qs and so on that one it will only be 99 cents!

whoa! i just realized if i ONLY use the 5ecbs that i will get back...i will only spend8.96 on 4 packs of diapers...with 2 5/15 Qs and 4 4.00 off Qs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a lot of diapers, but I am buying size 3 now...I am going to do similar as you all, doing the buy 3 etc....

OH and the P&G insert came to my friends house in the mail (yea!) and there is a pamper q in there for the $2/2 items...so it will help out a bit there is also coupons for Charmin and Bounty! its going to be a great week next week! Too bad the $5/15 expires on 6/1 i guess you will just have to hit as many stores as you can on that day!

I have figured it this way.
Using the 5/15 and 2/2 coupons and 1 1.50c I can get 3 packs of diapers for 15.48 (using the 1 1.50c), 2 diapers and 2 wipes for 14.96, or 8 wipes for 14.92. I'm doing the deal in 1 transaction and with many cards.

my 6/1 deals? oh they're nothing too exciting. getting the fusion razor, the free listerine and oral b (june deals). 2 bottles dawn. chex mix is $1 bag, there is a $1 printable on coupons.com (= free snack mix for DH's lunch...provided that his partner in crime doesn't come over and raid my pantry before i can pack his lunch) carefree 88 cents, 50 cent coupon on list of printables. colgate toothpaste BOGO (not an ecb earner but I have 2 1.50 q's and really like this toothpaste and don't mind paying $1 for two tubes.)

also want to get the charmin/bounty deal in somehow. If I get 1 bounty and three charmin, that's 20.96. earn $10 ecb and use 5/15 and a .25 q for each. so I spend about $5 OOP and get 27 large rolls of TP and 8 paper towels. not too shabby...considering what the "old me" paid for this stuff at the grocery store.

also want to see what cover girl q's we get in the paper and see if they match up to what cvs has bogo. haven't bought/worn makeup in such a long time and it would be nice to have some on hand

that's about it. I told you it wasn't too exciting!

I love hearing what other people have worked out for deals, it helps me plan mine! I'm just starting out - I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that they finally opened a CVS on Robert St, it's only like a mile from my house! Unfortunately, MN still doesn't have very many, so if I want to hit multiple stores, it's a lot of driving.
