Now I just need to figure out how to use it.

When you folks number your transactions, do you do those all in a row? Like Transaction #1 and then Transaction #2 and then a final one or a couple more? And you're able to use your ECB right after you earn them? How many Sunday papers am I going to need to get to make these offers worth it because I see a lot of people are using the same coupon multiple times.

I have a couple other posts to go through because I know some other stuff was covered already. I don't know why, I just feel so overwhelmed and I'm scared I'm going to screw something up and spend money I shouldn't or make myself look stupid in front of the other customers because I don't know what I'm doing. I just want some good deals!

make sure you go prepared. don't walk in and just throw stuff in your cart..pull out of your coupons and go up to the register. have a list of what you are going to buy, your coupons pulled, your ecbs that you will use..all out. put them in an envelope or something like that.

i'm still new at this..so when i plan out several transactions..i go through the store and get everything i have on my list for transaction #1...go to register..pay. then i go through the store again and do transaction #2...and so on. this way i don't get confused with what product is for which deal. - everybody does it differently though..you have to find what is right for you.

yep, you can use your ecb's right after you earn them.

the amount of newspapers..it depends on what coupons are in the inserts. check out Home about every wednesday for that sunday's coupons. then adjust the amount of papers based on the coupons that you want/need. like this week..since there is a P&G insert..i will probably get 4 or 5...and on a week that there isn't too much that i want, i will get no more than 2.

might want to start as soon as possible..and get all the FREE'S for the month of may. and rack up your ecb's that way. there isn't many money makes in the june monthly deals...not that i know of at least. you have aquafresh, colgate toothbrushes, deodorant..ect that are free for may, that you can start with.

Keep it simple so it doesn't get too overwhelming.

I plan everything out the night before so I can make sure all my q's are pulled. If I don't plan ahead, it's like a train wreck & I just want to cry! LOL

I think all of us have made some mistakes along the way and I still do make plenty. Just smile and be nice, most cashiers are great to work with. Some are crabby & mean, but we all have our off days, you'll learn which cashiers to avoid!

When you make a plan, always list substitutions, CVS is famous for being out of items.

I usually only do 2 transations at a store, sometimes one after another, other times I'll take the 1st to the car and come back in.

As far as q's go, I really only like to buy 2, at most 3 newspapers. Check the deals on here ahead of time and if there's some crazy deal that you'll need q's for you can trade for on here or buy from a site like EBAY. One of my friends buys tons of Sunday papers by getting them at CVS for free with $/$$ q's. Could be fun to do, but I really only get there once a week, never on Sunday.
