Ok, so I've done the perfect 10 hair color and pantene deal a few times and I asked on two seperate occassions if they could combine the 5, 5 and 5 on once card and I was told "no." One cashier was nice enough to try and still wouldnt let her. How do you guys "roll your Gc's" I always assumed (maybe thats where i went wrong) that it meant they were all put on one card. I've got tons of $5 GC's from the aveeno deal, now the pantene and P 10 deals. I just wanted to know how you all do it?

I don't know. Same thing happened to me too, which I thought was kind of weird but oh well.. as long as I get the gift cards

The cashier is correct and they can not combine the cards. You can always do seperate transactions.

The good news is you can use as many gift cards to pay in one transaction as you want..so I can hand them 10 $5 gift cards on my $50 purchase and all is well....takes some more time for them to scan, but hey, I've got the time to save that amount of $$!!

What if you buy a CG in the amount that you have in separate GC's... then pay for it with all your $5 cards. I would not wantto carry around all those cards.

I would think they wouldnt let you buy a GC with GC's though. Thanks for all the replies, I was wondering if I was the only one walking around with tons of $5 GC's!

Hi,
You can go to customer service and they will combine them for you. I've done it w/the Pantene and the Aveeno.

what kind of pantene is it shampoo or just stylers

i work at target....when you do the promo for more than1 gc...you cannot combine them in the same transaction. after you pay ask the cashier to put all your cards on one...so pick another gc, know how much they all total and ask for however mich they add up to to be put on the card then pay with all your gift cards...i hope that made sense... good luck

Yeah, the other day I got 2 from the P10 deal, and after I was done the cashier was doing something with my GC's - and here he combined them for me! (He's my new favorite cashier - he's awesome with coupons and is very friendly LOL)

But I didn't know they could do that! I thought CS should be able to, but I wasnt sure. I tend to just pay with a bunch of cards if I want to use them - I feel like a goober pulling out a stack of 5$ gift cards, but oh well.

I bought 3 Perfect 10 in 1 transaction & the 3rd one didn't prompt for a GC but I was too shy to tell my cashier that time that I didn't want it so I went straight to CS to return the 3rd Perfect 10 and while there bought a $20 GC and used my 4 $5 GCs to pay. 2 from Pantene & 2 from Perfect 10.

Now, if you're going to do more separate trans then you can still use your first set of $5 GCs. They can be reused as long as they are from diff trans. From the last Pantene deal, I had 4 GCs that each had accumulated $40. I didn't roll them into 1 GC coz I didn't want to be carrying 1 GC with too much in it. What if I lost it? Then I lost everything.

didnt someone post that its 2 gc per transaction? so it makes sense you only got 2....you should have broekn into two transacions and you would gotten all your gift cards.

Yeah it is two per transaction, I'd just take back the third one and buy it again to get the GC.
