I went to Wag today and the cashier calls the store manager to come check me out. That’s fine but when I gave him my coupons he looked at all of them and said I have to do the $ amounts before I do the BOGO. What? I never heard that. But I let him do it. What really gets me is I did not get the full price off on my BOGO. He said you have a $1.50 coupon for that item so I have to subtract the $1.50 from the cost and that is what you will get off on the BOGO. Can he do that? Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

Was the BOGO a mfc or a walgreens one? Some stores will not let you even combine an additional Q with the BOGO Q- it really is a YMMV- based on managers, cashiers, etc.

The BOGO was for any Sunsilk product the $1.50 was for the stylers

My WG will not let me do a $x.xx off with a BOGO of any kind. If I try it they tell me they don't do "double dipping" of coupons (their terminology not mine). I've gone round and round with them on this issue but to no avail. I called corporate and they said that it's up the store manager. I asked corporate if they would get reimbursed for both and she said yes but it's still up to the manager. So definitely YMMV on this for sure I think.
