I'm trying to improve my coupon savings and sale match-ups so please post the good deals you've found this week at cub. Maybe we could do this for every week, especialy since we have so many new MN AFC-ers. I haven't looked at the ad yet for this week, but if I notice anything I'll be sure to post it. So what good deals have you found for the week??

Try using couponmom.com - she has a listing with coupon match-ups and % off. I find it really helpful. Doesn't list internet printables but I have those on an Excel spreadsheet. The Jolly Time popcorn is a GREAT deal from the flyer if you have the IP printables (Jolly Time | Home) you'll get 2x 3 pk popcorn and a 3 L super chill soda for 50 cents total. The buy 4, get $3 deal can sweetened with 4 suave shampoo/conditioner (5.33 total) using 2x the Suave Coupon $1 off 2 (RP 4-20). You pay 3.33 and get $3 back, so 0.33 for 4 shampoo/conditioner Those are the only KILLER deals I found this week, except the BOGO pork loin. Otherwise, I get most of my groceries as Aldi where I usually pay less than a "price shocker", even sometimes a shocker WITH a Q. HTH |

I haven't tried Aldi since I started coupon shopping, do they take coupons? I know I shopped thier once when they first opened in MN, it was in a questionable part of town and the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth (I got inappropriately hit on like 3 times by really gross guys, and panhandled in the parking lot) so I haven't been there since.

no coupons accepted at Aldi. The one I go to is in Hopkins and it's very nice. I keep a price book and will not buy something elsewhere unless it is something they just don't have (like hormone free milk) OR if the price is lower. That's usually pretty hard to do! Example: strawberries have been $1.11 lately! Same ones that are BOGO at Cub where you get 2 for $3.49 (so $1.75 each). Apples have been $1.99 for 3 pounds. Lowest oranges lately were $1.59 for 3 pounds. Also low always: shredded cheese, yogurt, ground beef, chicken nuggets, lunch meat (I did get a better deal on Land O Frost when it was on sale for $2.99 at Cub and I have $1 Qs), bagged salad, most meats, avocados, broccoli .....reg/green/yellow peppers are ALWAYS a steal.....LOTS more. |

The movie deal is pretty sweet. Buy National Treasure 2 and get 1 Dannon 4pk yogurt, 1 Purex detergent, 2 Dial 3pk soap, and 1 red box rental ALL FREE. There are coupons from Sunday for 1.00 off Purex and .60 off Dial. The total for the movie would be 8.35 after all the coupons.

I was thinking the same thing, How nice it would be for people to tell us what deals they have noticed in the ads that can be matched to coupons, I forgot about coupon mom, So I'll have to check that, But personally I thought the cub ad was dissapointing this week, Nothing really for me. Bonnie |

So you can save all expired Actual Cub coupons?? Even like their coke coupons from Ads a few weeks back? Or only their little books? I'm so confused on this now, otherwise I would go to the stores every week, and grab multiples of their ads, and coupon books?????

Did anyone see in the coupon mom post that Bush Grilling beans are free this week w/ the $1 coupon? They are only .88, regularly 1.65, I'm still kicking myself because I used my coupon on them at regular price

I have been told they take manu coupons 90 days expired. With Cub store coupons I believe they only take them expired if they ran out of the item and you got a rain check/ |

A good deal that I saw is Farmland sausage that is 4/$5. There are expired coupons 4/30 for $1.00, making breakfast sausage $.25. Also in the Cub books, there is a coupon for Farmland bacon BOGO Free and there are also coupons that expired 4/30 for $1/1. Using this with the Bogo Free, it ends up being 15 cents a lbs. I am also going to do the buy 4 products (many to choose from) get $3.00 off your next order. I am getting Sunsilk (4 itmes) I have Bogo free Sunsilk mfg and (2) $2.00 off Sunsilk styling aids (expired 4/12, I think) I would end up paying $2.00 for 4 Sunsilk items. |

[quote=Bonniemn;503544]So you can save all expired Actual Cub coupons?? QUOTE] They won't take expired Cub coupons. The coupon I used on the chicken was a manufacturer's coupon that was printed in the Cub coupon book. Because it was a manufacturer's coupon, I was allowed to use it even though it was expired. Sorry for the confusion... |
