So me and the hubby had a date night last night, and since I was sick on Mother's Day - he said whatever I wanted to do was fine ( such a sweetie) So we went to Greenville which is about a 30 min drive, ate dinner and then we went CVSing looking for the elusive HT lip balm, which by the way I think some stores pulled those off the shelves bc they "weren't" meant to produce ecb and when they did they pulled them bc the store in Greenville did have them, the cashier found them in the system and she helped me look the store over and we didn't even so much as see a shelf tag for one! Anyways back to my story, we checked both of the stores "that I knew about" and then we found a CVS I din't even know was there - I was so excited , so we walk in and there it was all beautiful and red A SCANNER! At this point I am squealing with glee and almost break out in a Happy dance and my husband is looking at me like "yep she has finally lost it " So I scanned my card and the Da*n thing was offline and unavailable to print coupons

The CVS on 10th St and Greenville Blvd is the one with the scanner. I asked the Asst. Mgr when it would be available to print Q's, but she said she didn't know. Can't wait for it to work!

And the store on Memorial Drive is getting a makeover as well so we can probably expect a scanner there too.

Re: 10th St. I was told the person who installed the scanner has to come back to program it to work.

Hi, I am in Greenville too!! I am excited about the scanners! I have only been shopping at the one at Arlington and Firetower and occasionally the one on Memorial. I didn't even realize there was another! (I am somewhat of a newbie here!)

Memorial now has a scanner but it's not printing out coupons yet. The 10th St. store isn't printing out coupons yet either. I don't know what is taking so long.

I would love to know when any of the Greenville stores gets a scanner working. I just got my mom started CVS-ing when she came to visit last weekend, and Greenville is where she'll be shopping. She was amazed when I told her there was a store in Charlotte where a machine printed out coupons when you scanned your card. I'm sure she'd be excited it one in Greenville did.

Seriously, what is the point of the scanners if they never work. I tried 10th st today and still not working. I have NEVER had a scanner actually work!

The things have beenin the store SINCE MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they have NEVER printed Qs. GRRR.

I think that next time each of us is in the store we need to grab the manager and inquire about this because obviously there isn't any sense of urgency in getting it up and running.

I know I will say something next time I'm in.

The older cashier at the Memorail store said that it has never had paper and no one there knows how to load it! Seriously it can't be much different than loading the paper in the register!
